I’ve enjoyed video games for as long as I remember and I don’t think there isn’t a game I wouldn’t play. For reviews, I try my best to make them simple and easy to understand. With so many games released daily, I attempt to play them all.

Sea Of Stars – PS5 Review

Sabotage Studios is a team from Quebec that loves making retro-inspired games. You might be familiar with one of their previous titles, The Messenger. Now, releasing for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and Steam comes Sea of Stars, a new Pixel Turn-based RPG. There is a Demo on both Steam and PlayStation. There are many stories to share, let's begin with yours. I was browsing PlayStation free games when I stumbled across Sea of Stars. What caught my eye first was the Pixel art style and the dual characters. There aren't many turn-based games I'll play, but this looked promising, so I thought I'd give it a go.  Gameplay The game opens up with the player meeting a mysterious individual known only as the Archivist. They ask you to join them in the retelling of a world in turmoil thanks to ...

Red Dead Redemption – PS4 Review

In May of 2010, Rockstar released their incredibly popular Wild West meets GTA, Red Dead Redemption. Initially released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Red Dead Redemption and the DLC Undead Nightmares returns over a decade later for fans of the beloved action-adventure game and its sequel. Now available for £39.99 on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, fans can relive their wildest Western antics and see how this port holds up. It's Time To Hop Back In The Saddle Upon hearing about Red Dead Redemption's re-release, I was excited. I firmly believe that older games need re-releasing for newer consoles. Like many others, I was disappointed to learn that it is merely a port, not a remake or a remaster. Despite this, I was still excited to dive back in, especially after enjoying the original ...

Gunsmith Simulator – PC Review

I'm checking out Gunsmith Simulator, one of three games due to come out from the developers at Gamehunters. If you're a gun enthusiast or you just like guns. Then you can pick it up when it releases on Steam on July 19th this year.  Welcome to the gun show I enjoy playing the simulation genre. If you've seen a few of my other reviews, Gunsmith Simulator looks just as interesting as the others. I've always been curious about dismantling a gun, and I understand that I could simply google it. But where's the fun in that? Gameplay Though Gunsmith Simulator doesn't focus on a real story, the player does receive occasional emails from their Grandpa. The first email says that your Grandpa wants you to take over a Gunsmith workshop and that it won't be easy. He also sends a Colt M1911 that...

My Friendly Neighborhood – PC Review

My Friendly Neighborhood was developed by John & Evan Szymanski and published with the help of Dreadxp. Begin investigating an abandoned film that has begun broadcasting again in this new survival horror. Released on the 18th of July this year, players can pick it up on Steam for £24.99. There's a lesson here What caught my eye with My Friendly Neighborhood is it looked fresh and unique compared to many other horror games. Yeah. I understand that fighting against undead creatures or grotesque science experiments is scary. But it's nice to see some developers trying to make cute things into more dark and twisted variants. Some examples that come to mind are Bendy And The Ink Machine and, more recently, Poppy's Playtime. Unlike the other games mentioned, My Friendly Neighborhood isn't ...

Exoprimal – PC Review

The development team at Capcom have brought us a new game action game with dinosaurs. No, it isn't Dino Crisis remake we all hoped for, but a new online competitive shooter called Exoprimal. Players can suit up and go head to head as of July 14th of this year. You can buy the game on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation for £49.99 or the Deluxe Edition for £54.98. You should have stayed extinct! I've been eager to play Exoprimal since I saw the trailer last year. The first thing that caught my eye was obviously fighting large amounts of dinosaurs, but what really hooked me was the Exos. Each one looks unique, and after I played the beta, I was sold, especially with Krieger. Seeing that the game wasn't only multiplayer but had a story was a bonus. I'm very excited to see how this plays compared to...

Dwerve – PC Review

If you're a fan of tower defence games, then the developers at Half Human Games have brought us their take on the genre with Dwerve. Released in May 2022, players can pick it up on Steam for £15.49. The soundtrack is also available for an additional £7.19 for those who love to collect music. Not all heroes carry swords I find this genre relaxing and not too demanding, which makes it a great way to pass the time. Games like Bloons TD 6 and Plants vs Zombies instantly come to mind. Both were great games, but what interested me with Dwereve is that it is more story-focused. I'm hoping for a nice selection of towers to use and a rich story I can get lost in. Let me know in the comments about some of your favourite tower defence games and what I should check out. Gameplay In Dwerve, our...
