I’ve enjoyed video games for as long as I remember and I don’t think there isn’t a game I wouldn’t play. For reviews, I try my best to make them simple and easy to understand. With so many games released daily, I attempt to play them all.

Gunsmith Simulator – PC Review

I'm checking out Gunsmith Simulator, one of three games due to come out from the developers at Gamehunters. If you're a gun enthusiast or you just like guns. Then you can pick it up when it releases on Steam on July 19th this year.  Welcome to the gun show I enjoy playing the simulation genre. If you've seen a few of my other reviews, Gunsmith Simulator looks just as interesting as the others. I've always been curious about dismantling a gun, and I understand that I could simply google it. But where's the fun in that? Gameplay Though Gunsmith Simulator doesn't focus on a real story, the player does receive occasional emails from their Grandpa. The first email says that your Grandpa wants you to take over a Gunsmith workshop and that it won't be easy. He also sends a Colt M1911 that...

My Friendly Neighborhood – PC Review

My Friendly Neighborhood was developed by John & Evan Szymanski and published with the help of Dreadxp. Begin investigating an abandoned film that has begun broadcasting again in this new survival horror. Released on the 18th of July this year, players can pick it up on Steam for £24.99. There's a lesson here What caught my eye with My Friendly Neighborhood is it looked fresh and unique compared to many other horror games. Yeah. I understand that fighting against undead creatures or grotesque science experiments is scary. But it's nice to see some developers trying to make cute things into more dark and twisted variants. Some examples that come to mind are Bendy And The Ink Machine and, more recently, Poppy's Playtime. Unlike the other games mentioned, My Friendly Neighborhood isn't ...

Exoprimal – PC Review

The development team at Capcom have brought us a new game action game with dinosaurs. No, it isn't Dino Crisis remake we all hoped for, but a new online competitive shooter called Exoprimal. Players can suit up and go head to head as of July 14th of this year. You can buy the game on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation for £49.99 or the Deluxe Edition for £54.98. You should have stayed extinct! I've been eager to play Exoprimal since I saw the trailer last year. The first thing that caught my eye was obviously fighting large amounts of dinosaurs, but what really hooked me was the Exos. Each one looks unique, and after I played the beta, I was sold, especially with Krieger. Seeing that the game wasn't only multiplayer but had a story was a bonus. I'm very excited to see how this plays compared to...

Dwerve – PC Review

If you're a fan of tower defence games, then the developers at Half Human Games have brought us their take on the genre with Dwerve. Released in May 2022, players can pick it up on Steam for £15.49. The soundtrack is also available for an additional £7.19 for those who love to collect music. Not all heroes carry swords I find this genre relaxing and not too demanding, which makes it a great way to pass the time. Games like Bloons TD 6 and Plants vs Zombies instantly come to mind. Both were great games, but what interested me with Dwereve is that it is more story-focused. I'm hoping for a nice selection of towers to use and a rich story I can get lost in. Let me know in the comments about some of your favourite tower defence games and what I should check out. Gameplay In Dwerve, our...

Strayed Lights – PC Review

The self-publishing team known as Embers has developed a light-hearted action-adventure game called Strayed Lights. This game was released back in April of this year. If you want to check it out for yourself, then it's available on Steam, GOG, Epic, Switch, PlayStation and Xbox for £20.99 Hope burns bright. I'd seen a couple of screenshots of Strayed Light back in May but didn't understand what the story was about. However, the combat looked interesting. When I read that one of the tags for the game was soul-like, it piqued my interest further. Let's jump in and check out what this new Indie game offers; hopefully, this little flame will have a bright future. Let me know in the comments below what your thought about Strayed Lights. Gameplay In Strayed Lights, you play as a being of...

Final Fantasy XVI – PS5 Review

Return to the world of Final Fantasy in the latest entry, Final Fantasy XVI, developed by Square Enix Creative & Business Unit III. Travel through a world on the brink of ruin while wielding the power of the Eikons in this action role-playing game. Final Fantasy XVI is available right now on PlayStation for £64.99. Also for purchase is the Digital Deluxe going for £84.99 Walk tall my friends. I have only played a few entries in the Final Fantasy series, with the tenth being my favourite for turn-based combat. Final Fantasy XV is another favourite for its character development and the interesting aspect that it was more of a road trip. I found Fifteen's combat quite interesting. When I saw that Final Fantasy XVI was heading in the same direction, it immediately caught my interest, esp...

Martian Panic – PC Review

Run! NYX Digital Ltd has sent Martians to invade us with help from Funbox Media Ltd. They'll be arriving June 30th this year! Luckily we can fight back in Martian Panic, an arcade shooter. It'll be available on Steam for those who love rail shooters. Get off my planet! I don't play a lot of rail shooters, and the last one I could recall playing was Silent Hill; I must have wasted a good few tokens on that. I thought I would try and give the rail shooter genre another go and thought Martian Panic would be a good start. The visuals looked fun, and the characters seemed whacky. Let me know in the comment below what rail shooters you would recommend.   Gameplay There are several characters for players to choose from, such as the travelling salesman or a teenage girl who is secretly an ...

Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine – PC Review

The development team at Headup Development has brought us the diabolical game known as Dr. Fetus' Mean Meat Machine. Players may know Dr. Fetus as the main antagonist from the Super Meat Boy franchise. If you are familiar with the game Puyo Puyo, then players can try this new puzzle arcade with a large-difficulty twist. Where? You might ask well it's out now on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch for £7.99. A demo is also available on Steam for those who are cautious and know what the world of Super Meat Boy is like. Who knew evil could look so cute? I remember playing Super Meat Boy and never beating the game. When I saw this game released, you know what they say about the cat? I enjoy playing challenging games such as the Soulsborne games or the Nioh franchise, so why not try a puzzle ...
