Master & Dynamic MG20 Wireless Headset Review

When a pair of Master & Dynamic MG20's landed on my desk I was over the moon. When it comes to sound quality this particular company is up there with the big brands thanks to their premium design, materials and attention to detail. MG20 Never Play the Same? This is Master & Dynamic's first venture into the world of gaming headsets. Can they come up with a superior must-have product? Design and Control Right from the very start of even getting to the product that is within the box, the packaging is well thought out. Having slipped the sleeve off you open the cardboard door to the box to reveal the matt black of the MG20 wireless headset lying before you. The detachable boom mic held in place by a security seal. I received the Black Onyx headset, the other colour alternative ...

Cities: VR Review

Cities: Skylines has been around since 2015. It is in effect a highly polished version of Maxis' Sim City. When an opportunity to review Cities: VR by Fast Travel Games presented itself, I couldn't help but raise my hand and take it on. Cities: VR - Building in the Palm of Your Hand! Having been a fan since I was a lad of city builder games and also owning an Oculus Quest 2, would the transition to VR be a satisfying and fun experience? Gameplay To those of you new to the Cities series of games, Cities: VR is a single-player city-building and management game. You get to design your own city from a blank canvas and are in full control from the moment you start building roads and zoning areas to build either residential, commercial or industrial premises. All of the infrastructure is...

J’s WASD Gaming Highlights

Last month I was lucky enough to attend London's WASD gaming event with fellow Thumb Culture writer Si at Tobacco Dock, where a whole host of indie devs, and a few larger houses, put their games on display to the public. I do love visiting this venue and have fond memories of when it hosted a bustling but since defunct annual EGX Rezzed. Although I went on a Friday it was certainly a lot quieter than previous times however this could be down to it being a school term as well as some people not wanting to understandably be in places where there can be large crowds. There is certainly something here for everybody, from playable computer games and demos to a whole room dedicated to tabletop puzzles and board games. It certainly made for a good day out! Myself and Si managed to get aroun...
