Now that PowerWash Simulator 2 is in the hands of players around the globe, fans are soaking in the relaxing rhythm of blasting away dirt with high-pressure water. Indeed, the game hits that sweet spot of giving you a satisfying feeling every time a surface gleams once more. Furthermore, the sequel takes everything that made the first game a surprise hit and makes it even better. It refines the steady, methodical gameplay, adds more tools to get every job done right, and while that familiar rewarding ding still sounds when you finish a clean, you now also get free soap. With fresh features and new locations, it’s easy to imagine where FuturLab might go next with the series.

Mr PowerWasher, at your service.

The first PowerWash Simulator set a pretty high bar, especially when it came to fun collaborations. For example, fans loved the idea of scrubbing through worlds inspired by Shrek, Tomb Raider, Warhammer, Wallace & Gromit, and more. Consequently, with the second game built on a stronger foundation, the possibilities for creative DLC crossovers feel endless. Therefore, I’ve put together a list of ten franchises I’d love to see FuturLab tackle next. In doing so, I want to focus on capturing the unique vibe of each IP while imagining how these collaborations could look, feel, and market themselves in clever, fun ways. Finally, I aim to stay true to the grime, the humour, and the smart promotional potential that make these crossover ideas so exciting.

10. Only Fools & Horses

Only Fools & Horses, the beloved British sitcom that aired from 1981 to 2003, follows Del Boy Trotter and his brother Rodney. They navigate life in 1980s South London with humour, schemes, and dodgy French sayings. In this collaboration, players start at Nelson Mandela House. They scrub graffiti, smog, and pigeon droppings from balconies and walls. Next, they wash the iconic Trotters Independent Traders’ three-wheeled yellow Reliant Regal van.

Players then tackle The Nag’s Head pub. Sticky floors, beer-stained wooden bar and it’s vast cellar demand attention. Completing tasks unlocks themed cosmetics, a “Trotters Independent Trading Co.” washer skin, and iconic items for the in-game hub. Soundbites like “Lovely jubbly!” for completing jobs would help to celebrate the show’s 45th anniversary. It’s an unlikely setting for a DLC pack, but immensely fun to imagine.

9. Monsters, Inc

Monsters, Inc., the Pixar classic from 2001, follows Sulley and Mike as they harvest children’s screams and laughter. The story blends humour, heart, and colourful monster-filled worlds for a joyfully messy playground. Slime-streaked floors, scattered doors, and oversized machinery make it a perfect fit for PowerWash Simulator 2. Players start on the Factory Floor, cleaning conveyor belts, laughter tanks, and towering door vaults. They then move to Boo’s Room to tackle footprints, scribbles, and scattered toys.

The adventure concludes in the Himalayas, scrubbing snow and leftover lemon snow cone stains from the Abominable Snowman’s cave. The crossover introduces themed nozzles like the “Laugh-Powered Rinse.” Unlockable washer skins feature Sulley, Mike, Randall, and a CDA agent. Promotional campaigns could align with the film’s 25th anniversary. The combination of Pixar’s colourful aesthetic and PowerWash’s satisfying gameplay makes this crossover feel made in heaven.

I hope we can avoid any pesky 23-19s.

8. Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad is widely regarded as one of the greatest crime dramas on TV. It tells the story of Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher who spirals into the world of meth-making. The show’s attention to visual detail has turned locations like the famous pizza place and the battered RV into iconic symbols. Albuquerque’s desert terrain provides a perfect backdrop for a unique collaboration with PowerWash Simulator.

Players begin their cleaning journey at the A1A Car Wash — an unexpectedly fitting starting point for a crossover focused on cleaning. From there, they move inside the RV Lab to scrub away chemical traces from Heisenberg’s experiments. The adventure ramps up at Los Pollos Hermanos, where those greasy fryers, bright neon signs, and exterior walls all need a good scrubbing. It all wraps up in Saul Goodman’s office, now shining under bright neon lights.

Throughout the game, fans can release themed items like a “Heisenberg Nozzle,” decals from Los Pollos Hermanos, and costumes that mimic Walter White’s infamous, trouserless look. Achievements such as “Say My Nameplate,” awarded for first cleaning the RV’s licence plate, would nod to some of the show’s most memorable quotes. In the end, each level would feel like a small chapter in this clever mix of chemistry, crime, and cleaning fun.

7. The Lord of the Rings

J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings is one of the most influential fantasy sagas ever written. Adapted into award-winning films and games, it has inspired awe for generations. Its sprawling locations also have accumulated centuries’ worth of grime, making it perfect for PowerWash Simulator 2.

The adventure could begin in The Shire. Players hose away firework soot from Bilbo’s eleventy-first birthday party, cleaning the Party Tree, picnic tables, and Bag End’s famous round door. Next, they journey to Helm’s Deep, scraping mud and dried orc blood off the battlements. Rivendell follows, where every marble bridge, ivy-covered terrace, and glimmering fountain returns to elven perfection under careful hands. In Minas Tirith, players restore the White City’s marble spires and cleanse black ash remnants from Mordor’s attacks. The journey ends at Mount Doom, testing all equipment against layers of volcanic residue.

Promotional tie-ins could include links to The Rings of Power TV show or upcoming film anniversaries. Players might wear Gondorian or Rohirrim-themed uniforms and wield rune-etched washers. A “Ring of Restoration” attachment could sparkle golden light whenever cleaning is completed. This expansion would let fans inhabit Tolkien’s world like never before.

6. Ghostbusters

Since its 1984 debut, Ghostbusters has been one of pop culture’s most enduring supernatural comedies. It blends humour, horror, and eccentric science. The films feature slime, spectral residue, and iconic New York locations, making them perfect for PowerWash Simulator gameplay.

Players start at the Ghostbusters Firehouse HQ. They scrub ectoplasm off walls, stairs, and garage bay floors. The Ecto-1 also needs cleaning, covered in slimy residue from previous ghost hunts. Next, you tackle the New York Public Library, washing ghost-coated bookshelves, marble statues streaked with ectoplasm, and spectral handprints from floor to ceiling. The adventure continues at Dana Barrett’s Apartment and Rooftop Temple. Players polish gargoyles, remove debris from rooftops, and wash sticky slime from the gate to Gozer. Then comes the Stay Puft Marshmallow aftermath. Streets are thick with sticky residue, requiring cleaning of sidewalks, benches, and car roofs.

This pack would introduce Ghostbusters-themed tools, like a proton-pack-shaped washer with adjustable glow effects. Players can collect in-game ghost statues for their base and use the iconic jumpsuit as their washer uniform.

5. Crash Bandicoot

Debuting on the original PlayStation in 1996, Crash Bandicoot is a chaotic, colourful platforming series. Players navigate hazardous environments, collect Wumpa fruit, and outsmart Doctor Cortex. Its cartoony charm and slapstick energy make it a perfect match for PowerWash Simulator gameplay.

This DLC would let players clean some of the locations seen in the series. At Crash’s House on N. Sanity Beach, they could scrub grime, sand, fruit pulp, and his racing kart. Next, in Cortex Castle, players clean corridors covered in leaked machine oil, laser scorch marks and some of his contraptions. N. Gin’s Lab would challenge players with bubbling chemical vats overflowing with molten metal residue, alongside the usual array of rocket parts, conveyor belts, and grimy mechanical walls. Meanwhile, the Warp Room would finally task players with scrubbing away layers of crystal dust, cleaning up sticky teleport residue, and clearing scattered crates that have seen one too many Wumpa-fuelled crashes.

Completing objectives could see Crash-inspired washer skins, Aku Aku and Uka Uka decals, and sound effects when cleaning has been completed. It could even link to the Netflix series in production for a touch of collaboration.

4. Dishonored

Arkane StudiosDishonored series blends steampunk, supernatural and political intrigue in the plague-ridden Empire of the Isles. Its cities brim with atmosphere, ornate details, and layers of grime, making them perfect for PowerWash Simulator cleaning. Players could restore Dunwall Tower by scrubbing thick soot, streaked oil, and corroded metal from royal balconies and statues.

At Karnaca Docks, brine-encrusted ships, bloodstained crates, and algae-covered warehouses are ready to clean. The Flooded District challenges players to clean mouldy walls and submerged streets. Completing objectives rewards players with cosmetic items, including whale-oil-powered hoses and Outsider-symbol washer skins. This collaboration would bring attention to Dishonored’s oppressive, grimy world in the hopes it could breathe life back into the series. It would also provide a satisfying challenge for any avid Powerwasher.

3. Mortal Kombat

Since it first hit the scene back in 1992, Mortal Kombat has never shied away from raising the bar in fighting games, blending brutal cinematic moments with memorable stages. Because of that, its blood-soaked, battle-worn arenas are perfect for PowerWash Simulator players who want a messier challenge, all while enjoying the oddly satisfying feeling of cleaning every inch painstakingly.

Players start off in The Pit, where they rinse off blood splatters and scorch marks from the bridge and the jagged rocks below. Next up is the Lin Kuei Temple, which demands careful cleaning around frost and broken ice statues. Then there’s Shang Tsung’s Island, a place filled with ancient stone arenas and weathered runes buried under layers of ash, all ready to be buffed back to their original shine. Finally is The NetherWorld Forge, where lava crusts, molten residues, and demonic ash cling to fiery weapons that need some serious cleaning.

As a reward, players can release Mortal Kombat-themed washer skins decorated with dragon emblems, glowing elemental effects, and arena embellishments for their home hub. Surfaces that get cleaned up sparkle with animated ‘finisher’ effects, making each clean-up feel extra special. This collaboration could go live alongside the upcoming movie or new game, tying everything together.

2. Fallout

Fallout is Bethesda’s iconic post-apocalyptic RPG series, renowned for its retro-futuristic Americana, dark humour, and desolate yet detailed world-building. Set centuries after nuclear war, its mix of 1950s optimism and radioactive decay makes it a perfect fit for PowerWash Simulator 2.

In this DLC, players would begin by carefully restoring a rusted Power Armour, washing away layers of dried mud, scorch marks, and decades of battle wear. Next, they’d descend into the depths of a Vault, cleansing radiation stains, oxidised metal doors, and remnants of failed experiments. The Red Rocket Truck Stop follows, tasking players with rinsing oil-slicked forecourts, rusted signage, and radroach splatter. The grand finale takes place in New Vegas, where the neon brilliance of The Strip lies dulled beneath casino dust, spilled Nuka-Cola, and atomic-era grime.

Rewards could include Vault-Tec-branded washer skins, Pip-Boy-themed HUD overlays, and unlockable V.A.T.S. slow-motion “job completion” animations. Players might even earn cosmetic suits inspired by Lucy and The Ghoul from the TV adaptation. This crossover celebrates Fallout’s grit and nostalgia, turning wasteland restoration into the ultimate clean-up fantasy.

1. Resident Evil

We now reach Resident Evil, the main inspiration for this list, is Capcom’s landmark survival horror franchise that redefined the genre when it debuted in 1996. Combining tense exploration, cryptic puzzles, and grotesque bio-engineered creatures, the series is infamous for its oppressive environments as every corridor slick with decay, every room thick with dread. It’s the perfect setting for PowerWash Simulator 2.

Players would begin in the Raccoon City Police Department, hosing down blood-smeared corridors and methodically scrubbing away licker residue (a sentence no one should ever have to write twice). The Spencer Mansion Courtyard requires precision and care with its mossy statues, algae-choked fountains, and cracked marble tiles. Next, players venture to the Baker Family House, where, as expected, every inch is layered in swamp mud, black mould, and festering biohazard slime. Afterwards, they move on to the Village Square, which presents an eerie, snow-covered challenge; here, players must clear soot-stained walls and grotesque organic growths left behind by unseen horrors.

Completion rewards would include biohazard themed washer skins, Umbrella Corp. hub decals, and “Disinfectant Sprayer” nozzles that create a satisfying sparkle with each use. You could even have typewriter save-point props or herb-inspired washer soap cosmetics. Timed perfectly, this DLC could launch alongside Resident Evil’s 30th anniversary, letting players quite literally wash away 30 years of fear.
