Planet Zoo 2 – PC Review

I have spent far too many hours playing management games over the years. The Jurassic World Evolution titles are certainly some of them. There is just something about starting with a bit of empty land and turning it into something impressive that keeps dragging you back in. Of course, it never quite goes to plan. You start off wanting to build a nice little zoo, and before you know it, you have spent your entire budget on an enclosure, your visitors are complaining about the price of a burger, and one of your animals is probably plotting its escape. There's something oddly satisfying about starting with next to nothing and slowly building up a thriving settlement, and that's exactly what Corsair Cove, by devs Limbic Entertainment, sets out to do. Blending resource gathering, exploration and town management with a pirate theme, it creates a surprisingly relaxing experience that feels like a cross between The Settlers, a light survival game and a casual adventure title. He's a Pirate! While there are pirates, treasure and plenty of exploration, don't expect a fast-paced action game. Copa City offers a chance to step into that role and see what it takes to get a city ready. Released on the 16th June, Copa City is available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for £32.99. A new management sim hits the Steam store, and this time we will be punishing the damned in Sintopia. Where we take the role of overlooking the hellish realm for the big man himself.
