Happy New Year!! The PlayStation Plus January Monthly Games have been announced for all PlayStation subscribers. Sadly it features one of the worst games of 2024 however that is sandwiched between two amazing titles. Remember that even if you don’t plan to play these games now you should still add them to your library so you can check them out at any time (as long as you have an active sub). Josef Fares, a regular face at The Game Awards, returned this year with another expletive laden monologue to announce Hazelight Studios' next co-op game. Split Fiction is an action-packed co-op buddy adventure that jumps between sci-fi and fantasy worlds. Let me set the stage to my reaction when watching the reveal to The Witcher 4. It's 10 am JST, you're in a Discord voice channel with friends to watch the Game Awards together. I felt slightly sleepy and was thinking about just going back to bed. I get a bit of a jolt from seeing some new Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound (which as an aside looks great and has a nice retro Castlevania feel to it) But after shouting at one another over some of the games that won some of the awards, the tiredness has taken over. That's not all though as there is a major game update in the form of a name change. That's right, LEGO Fortnite will now be known as LEGO Fortnite Odyssey.
