I'm happy to check out Starship Troopers: Extermination, a new co-op online FPS with base-building mechanics. It was developed and published by Offworld Industries. They're the ones who brought you Squad, another online shooter that was released back in September 2020. Starship Troopers was released for early access on Steam this May for £20.99. The only good bug is a dead bug! Like many others, I grew up with the 1997 Starship Trooper Film and prayed for a game based on it. Offworld Industries must have heard me because now I get to fight off mass hordes of bugs. Supplice is a retro style FPS now available in Early Access. In development by Mekworx with publishing by Hyperstrange (Jupiter Hell, Frozenheim), this throwback to the mid 1990's is heavily inspired by Doom and its mod community. Gunfire Reborn – PC Review

Gunfire Reborn is a roguelite first-person shooter game developed by a Chinese game studio Douyi Games and was released for early access in May 22nd 2022 on Steam, and later fully released in November 18th the following year. Since its launch Gunfire Reborn has released its first DLC called "Visitors of Spirit Realm". Both of these can be picked up as bundle for £20.68 or just the base game for £15.49. Under development by Small Impact Games and published by Team17, Marauders is a tactical FPS multiplayer "looter shooter" set in space. Now in early access, Marauders is accessible via Steam. Another year passes and just like the new moon a new Call of Duty game appears. This time however with the rather confusing title of Modern Warfare II, no not a remake of Modern Warfare 2 from 2009, but a direct sequel to the Modern Warfare reboot of 2019. With a brand new engine from Infinity Ward powering the game there was lots to look forward to, once I had downloaded the required 31.5GB, surprising small for a Call of Duty game! Is this a change that will stay for good or when multiplayer and Warzone 2.0 come along will this file size grow to over 100GB? Who knows! Lets hope not!
