Super Animal Royale Officially Coming To Consoles

Super Animal Royale is officially coming to consoles! The super cute top down 2D battle royale will be releasing on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S on June 1st through Xbox Game Pass as part of the Xbox Game Preview programme.

It will release on Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and PlayStation later in the year. I’ve seen people play this game on Twitch, and it looks pretty fun to be fair.

Walnut Creek, Calif. (May 6, 2021) – Calling all trigger-happy tigers and murderous monkeys: Modus Games and Pixile Studios today announced that Super Animal Royale is launching in early access on Xbox Game Preview and Game Pass on June 1st. Game Pass subscribers will have free access to the Founder’s Edition on day one.
This is the first time the adorably brutal 2D multiplayer shooter, currently in Steam Early Access, will be available on a home console. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Google Stadia versions will also arrive later this year, when the game leaves Early Access. All versions will be cross-play and cross-save compatible with each other.
The news was accompanied by a brand-new trailer that explores Super Animal Royale’s backstory in a toe-tapping musical extravaganza:
Players eager to join Super Animal Royale’s feral mayhem can also download the Steam Early Access version, which has 95% “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews, now on PC and Mac.
Those who start on PC today will be able to continue where they left off on their Xbox One, Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X when it arrives on Game Preview.
Super Animal Royale is a battle royale with a zoological twist. Play as your favorite cuddly, genetically modified animal picked from 300+ breeds, find your style with 600+ cosmetic items, and jump off the back of a Giant Eagle and into a 64-player fight to the death! You’ll fire shotguns and sparrows, toss grenades and bananas, ride emus and hamster balls all the way to the top of the food chain. The explosive top-down action pairs perfectly with an expressive flat-design style, and the innovative fog-of-war-system enables a game that’s as deep and strategic as it is fun and accessible.
