Time for something different here at TC, yes, it’s a wallet. Not just any wallet, though: the Shuffle Wallet 2.0. Featuring upgrades from the original version, this wallet aims to look after your money, whether you misplace the wallet or from miscreants out there. So what is the Shuffle Wallet 2.0? Shall we dive in and take a look?
Design Features
The first thing that you will notice about the wallet is the weight. You might not think that 150g is a lot, but when you feel the sturdy construction, you know that this is a great product. Only 14.5mm thin it allows you to keep it close, although I do prefer to have my usual wallet in my pocket so that I can feel it. I found myself doing the pocket checks a number of times while I was using the Shuffle Wallet.
One of the biggest features is the protection against digital theft. Now we have all heard of the scam, someone goes around with an RFID reader skimming money off your accounts. The Shuffle Wallet 2.0 comes with an RFID-blocking construction that prevents this and protects your money. Alongside that you also get a built-in tracker, ensuring that if you ever misplace your wallet, you can find it quickly and easily using your phone’s built-in location apps. One charge using the included cable gives you a 6-month battery life, which gives you peace of mind.
Being able to hold 7 cards at once, the Shuffle Wallet 2.0 fans your cards out with an easy push-up on the mechanism. You do have to manually push them back in, but it’s not a massive deal-breaker. If you have a card that you use regularly, you can put this in the quick draw slot. Allowing you to have one-handed access to the card, whether its your normal bank card, work access card or anything else. The wallet helps you get to whatever you need quickly.
My only gripe with the wallet was that you can’t fan the cards when attached to the back of your phone; well, I couldn’t with my iPhone 17 Pro Max. The cards ended up stuck against the camera lens. Now I know that it really doesn’t matter, and that I could have just taken it off from being connected with the high-strength magnet, but it’s something to be aware of.
Final Thoughts
If you fancy a new wallet, and you are willing to pay the price for it, RRP is a little under 140 dollars. However, it is currently on sale for $84.99. It is a pricey item to carry around, but with the value of what is kept safe inside, this could be an investment that you definitely see the benefit of.
