PlayStation Plus – July is the first full month since the redesign of the platforms subscription service. The latest games coming to the Essential (Basic) level and above are confirmed as follows:
Crash Bandicoot 4 – It’s About Time
PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 gamers. The story revolves around Neo Cortex and Dr. N. Tropy having escaped from their interdimensional prison.
Having released back in September 2020 it received our Thumb Culture Silver Award in our review at the time.
The Dark Pictures Anthology – Man of Medan on Playstation 4
Man of Medan marked the beginning of The Dark Pictures Anthology coming from Supermassive Games. It follows the same format as Until Dawn and the recently released The Quarry. You can check out the review for The Quarry here.
A diving holiday trip turns sinister for 5 friends in this branching cinematic horror. As pirates board the ship in search of Manchurian Gold, they stumble across what appears to be a ghost ship. Will they make it through till morning or will the friends succumb to the secrets of the ship?
Arcadeggon
Lastly, a new title comes for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 gamers as Arcadegeddon launches.
Gilly, the owner of a local arcade, is trying to save his business from a faceless mega-corporation. To do so, he takes all the top arcade games and connects them all to make a super game. Unfortunately, the mega-corporation, Fun Fun Co. hacks the game and injects a virus. You and your friends need to save the game and the last hometown arcade.
