Lego and Fortnite. Two of my favourite things. Which is why I love everything about the LEGO Fortnite collab from the game to the sets released last October. I’ve been keeping my hopes up that we’ll have some new additions to this line soon. And I finally have the good news to share with you all. We’re getting not 1 but 4 new sets!

“Whether it be physical building or the diverse digital experiences on offer, LEGO Fortnite has something for everyone”, said Remi Marcelli, Senior Vice President, GAME at the LEGO Group. “These latest sets allow us to continue offering amazing LEGO Fortnite play experiences that surprise and delight builders around the world.”

So what are these new sets for what I am now calling LEGO Fortnite Chapter 2? Let’s take a look!

LEGO Fortnite Peely & Sparkplug’s Camp 77075

Starting with the smallest set of this latest collection, it’s the LEGO Fortnite Peely & Sparkplug’s Camp set. If you, or even your kids, have been playing LEGO Fortnite Odyssey and wishing to bring some of that magic into your living room, this is the set for you. This set may only be 250 pieces but it packs a lot into it. Using this playset you’ll be able to recreate the game’s recognisable ruins, workbench and campfire. Of course there are minifigures included, three in fact:  Peely, Sparkplug and a skeleton. There is also a buildable Supply Llama ready to drop gameplay essentials. But what’s a playset without an enemy to take on? The brick built wolf figure has a moveable tail and legs. Making it cool for play and display!

This wouldn’t be a LEGO Fortnite set without some in-game content now would it?  Just scan the QR code on the instruction manual to unlock a bonus Sparkplug outfit.

LEGO Fortnite Durrr Burger Restaurant 77076

The Durrr Burger is a fan favourite. And so it’s no surprise the next set builds on this. That’s right it’s the LEGO Fortnite Durrr Burger Restaurant set. This 546-piece set speaks for itself really. I don’t want to give too much about this one because honestly it’s got some really fun little features. Safe to say all you could want from this restaurant is here: a condiment station, a soda machine and of course a cash register to pillage gold from. You can even build a cool little outside seating area. Perfect for posing the Beach Bomber, Beef Boss, or Grimey minifigures on. Oh and that pesky skeleton too of course!

Again there’s a bonus for Fortnite players. Scan the building instruction QR code to unlock the Beef Boss Outfit in the LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite games.

LEGO Fortnite Klombo 77077

The fun continues as we move onto the third set announced today. It’s of course the LEGO Fortnite Klombo set. One of LEGO Fortnite’s most beloved characters now in brick form. Adorable. This 1084 piece set is still technically aimed at the younger fans, but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t fit right in on that collection shelf. A fully built Klombo features moveable legs, an opening mouth and rotating tail. Plus if they get hungry you have the Klomberry bush with detachable Klomberries for them. Like I said, adorable.

We all love minifigures but the ones included in this set have me excited. In particular the Island Adventure Peely. He looks far too chill to be intimidated by the Oro minifigure and any mischief they may get up to. You can channel these chill vibes yourself, or at least in-game, with the Island Adventure Peely skin too. Unlockable by, you guessed it, scanning the building instruction QR code.

LEGO Fortnite Mecha Team Leader 77078

I cannot express quite how excited I am about this next set. Cuddle Team Leader is my all time favourite Fortnite character. I even own a pair of Cuddle Team Leader Crocs. I fear cool is not good enough word for it and I may slip into some 90s slang like rad. Because it is the LEGO Fortnite Mecha Team Leader set is so rad.

This 2503 piece set is an 18+ set again not because of complexity but because this is not a playset. Well that and the £210 price tag. LEGO themselves have literally called it a model and I actually agree. This is more than a typical 18+ set. It can be posed in different directions thanks to mechanisms at the hips, arms, feet and head making it an incredible display set. And the incredible pink bladed sword can be placed in either hand. What I love even more is that the Mecha Team Leader minifigure that comes in this set, can be placed in the chest cockpit. This set just sparks joy for me.

We’ll also get 2 game bonus items: the Mecha Team Leader and Mecha Team Shadow Outfits. My Cuddle Team Leader skin collection will continue to grow!
