It’s no secret we love Lego here at Thumb Culture. We have a whole section of the website dedicated to it after all. Recently we got sent the biggest set we have to review yet. But what could it be?
Be Our Guess
I know the article title gives it away, but indulge me here. Followers over on our TikTok got a sneak peek into this mysterious new review set. We even gave viewers a chance to guess which set it was. Would you have been able to guess it?
@thumb_culture We’ve been sent another LEGO set to review. What do you think it is? #LEGO #legotiktok #guessinggame #asmr #legoasmr #fyp
Sacré Bleu
Of course we have very smart followers and people guessed it rather quickly. What else could it be but the LEGO Disney Beauty and the Beast Castle?! This is one of my favourite Disney movies and even just looking through the instruction booklets got me emotional. Yes, booklets. Multiple. Just take a look at our video below.
@thumb_culture Replying to @🦸♂️✝️ Of course, it’s the iconic Beauty and the Beast Castle from LEGO! #LEGO #beautyandthebeast #legodisney #fyp #legotok
If it’s not Baroque, don’t fix it.
The recently released LEGO Disney Beauty and the Beast Castle is a big set. One might even say a beast. Ahem. Coming in at 2916 bricks divided across 21 bags, this is not a quick build. Not to mention the size of it. When fully built this castle comes to 53cm in height, 33cm wide with a depth of 15cm. Which is smaller then the LEGO Disney Castles 71040 and 43222, but still sizeable!
LEGO always does an incredible job of including great little easter eggs in their build. From the spinning floor in the ballroom to the dining room table with spinning platters this set deserves time to enjoy it and all it’s intricate details. Not to mention time to study all 10 LEGO Minifigures. The Beast, Belle, Cogsworth, Chip, Mrs. Potts, Lumière, Fifi, Maurice, Gaston and LeFou, in case you were wondering!
I have yet to fully build the LEGO Disney Beauty and the Beast Castle. And quite frankly I don’t want to, because I don’t want to rush build it. Which is why this is a slightly different article from us. Take this is as our review teaser with a promise there is something there that wasn’t there before. 100 Disney bragging points if you got that reference.
Of course at £239.99 the LEGO Disney Beauty and the Beast Castle is no pocket money set. But you have plenty of time before the last petal falls to buy this set from the LEGO website.
