LEGO Ideas Minifigure Vending Machine Revealed

The latest LEGO Ideas set has been revealed, and it's none other then the LEGO Ideas Minifigure Vending Machine set. With a classic retro-inspired vintage style this buildable vending machine is a conversation-starting display piece. The set was submitted by Belgium-based Fan Designer, Rob Vangansewinkel, as part of the LEGO Ideas programme. Talking about his design, Rob said, “As a kid, I had a real vending machine at home and loved it - so the idea of creating a working LEGO brick version that dispenses minifigures just clicked. I started with a digital version of the model and posted it on LEGO Ideas. But I wasn’t sure if the dispensing mechanism would really work, so I spent about two months testing and refining the design with actual LEGO bricks. I even took apart my old vending mach...

ZOTAC GAMING RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Twin Edge Hands On

This was supposed to be a review of the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Twin Edge. I had every intention of reviewing this graphics card, ZOTAC are one of the greats of the pc component industry afterall. I was ecstatic to get my hands on it. My PC as it turns out was not quite so enthusiastic and I have no idea why. On paper everything is up to spec and compatible with the ZOTAC 5060 Ti and yet once I updated my Drivers the lights went out. Not one to let uncooperative hardware beat me, I'm making the best of the situation. So no, this is not a review, but rather a hands on experience article. Well, I couldn't let my nice pictures go to waste could I? The Card You Really Want For Your Birthday The ZOTAC 5060 Ti is new to the hardware market, yet another reason I was excited to ...

So Chill Infinity Mini Fridge Review

We get sent some pretty cool things to review here at Thumb Culture. This is the first of it's kind though. Today I'll be reviewing the So Chill Infinity Mini Fridge. Available from all good retailers for £45. Is this the missing element from your gaming set up? Let's find out. Fridgin' Cool I'll be honest when I think gaming set-ups a mini fridge is not the first thing I think of. Although, I do remember the buzz when Xbox announced it's Series X Drinks Cooler. So I shouldn't have been that surprised when this landed on my desk! To be honest the more I think about it, the more it makes sense. Afterall I can't be the only one who has to time getting a drink top up or snack strategically between a win at Fortnite or when reaching a good safe bench in Hollow Knight. Design Upon openi...

LEGO Beauty and The Beast Castle Full Build Review

Once upon a time in a land far away, I wrote a preview of the newly released LEGO Beauty and The Beast Castle set. The time has come for me to share the full build with you all. Let's not wait for the last petal to fall, let's get into this review. Tale As Old As Time This is not a small set, but being a Disney castle would you expect anything less? The 2916 bricks are divided across 21 bags. Whilst the instructions span 2 thick booklets. For those interested in scale, or indeed shelf space requirements, this is smaller then the now retired LEGO Disney Castle 71040 set. In fact you'll spot a nice side by side just below! However, this is still a beast of a build. Fully built the LEGO Beauty and The Beast Castle is 53cm in height, 33cm wide and has a depth of 15cm. So plan shelf spac...
