Just Crow Things – PC Review

What do you call a group of crows? A murder! Which is very apt as this game has murdered my free time. Just Crow Things is an action adventure sandbox game developed by Unbound Creations. The same developers responsible for the wonderful stress relieving game called Rain On Your Parade. Before playing I was already impressed by the fact I would be playing as a tool wielding crow. Although it really helps me sleep at night that crows in real life can't do all that this game character can! This review was written by a living breathing crow named Noir. Gameplay Just Crow Things has you playing as a crow (who I named Tenebrae). Your Crow Grandma has decided you're old enough to venture the world and make our own nest. Before fully pushing us out of the nest Grandma gifts us a family he...

A new interior design game has entered. Developed and published by Alex Blintsov and is available on Steam for between £10 - 15. Furnish Master has exceeded my expectations already, and I am excited to see how Alex Blinstov continues to improve an already amazing interior design game. Furnish Master is available on Tuesday 20th of February with it being released in early access. Are you ready to get your furnish design on? I came across Furnish Master completely by chance when scrolling through Steam for a new game. When I watched the trailer, I was instantly drawn. Having played the game, my excitement has not wavered. Please let me know by leaving a comment below if you are excited to play Furnish Master. What are you most excited to try? Gameplay Furnish Master is a single-pl...

Cities: Skylines II – PC Review

Despite being released at the end of October, I have purposely held off from writing the review of Cities: Skylines II. A follow-up to the long-reigning hit from 2015, Cities: Skylines, devs Colossal Order and publisher Paradox Interactive have been working hard to make this installment better. Initially thwarted by graphical bugs, I have found it hard to get to grips with the new iteration, having stooped as low as 7fps despite running the graphics on low. Thankfully there have been a few updates along the way that have addressed some of the issues and made Cities: Skylines II playable. Ruling The City Once More Are you ready to see what the changes are and ultimately what Cities: Skylines II is like to play? Let's get building! Gameplay Going straight in and creating a new gam...

Tren – PS5 Review

Uncharted 4 has a scene set in an attic that is filled with nostalgic treasures from Nathan Drake's past adventures. It's a brilliant stand out moment for me in that game. Tren is also set in an attic but the sense of nostalgia, for a kid who grew up in the 80's and 90's, is even more profound. Tren - What Dreams Are Made Of Having previously released Little Big Planet 1 & 2 on PS3, Tearaway on PSVita (long live the Vita) and Tearaway Unfolded on PS4, the talented team at Media Molecule brought their ambitious project Dreams to PS4 in 2020. The highly anticipated physics based puzzle game from the BeechCorp team at Media Molecule is finally here. Launched on Aug 1st to coincide with Dreams landing on PS Plus, Tren signals the end of the line for the Guilford studios work on Dreams...

It’s Only Money Early Access- PC Review

It's Only Money was released in early access by developers Usual Suspects Studios on 16th June and its overall score on Steam is Very Positive. The game is a third-person sandbox simulation game where they encourage you to "steal back the city". I got a chance to get a hands-on look at the game and share my thoughts. Money makes the world go round. The game boasts a similar game style to that of GTA but is seemingly more quirky and random. I love a bit of quirky humour in my games and know I'll love this one. Do enjoy your crime simulators and like to cause a bit of mayhem on the streets? Let me know your favourite games below in the comments! Gameplay It's Only Money throws you into the action straightaway working your gruelling shift at Rockhaven's biggest factory. Here you run f...

Zombie Cure Lab – PC Preview

Zombie Cure Lab is a new sandbox lab builder developed by Thera Bytes GmbH and published by Aerosoft GmbH. Gather, build and survive the ever-growing waves of zombie hordes in this Colony Sim/Base Building/RTS mashup. Friends, NOT Foe! As the title might suggest, Zombie Cure Lab sees players capture and cure - not kill, zombies. So zombies are... friends...? An unusual twist on the concept of zombie games. One that I for one couldn't wait to try out! Join me below to see my thoughts on how this concept played out in the early access demo. Gameplay As with most RTS base builders, players must manage resources and workers as well as survive enemy waves whilst building & expanding their base.
