Sony Announce Concord Server Closure

After seeing what Firewalk Studios had to offer in April 2023, Sony decided to acquire the studio. After a long wait, Concord was revealed at the Sony State Of Play in May of this year. Too Little, Too Late The initial reveal cinematic met a mixed reception. With gamers pointing out that the cutscene tone was too “we have guardians of the galaxy at home” and showed off some relatively bland character designs. Confidence was not instilled when Concord then went on to reveal that it was a 5v5 hero-based shooter. Which at present is an oversaturated genre. V Rising is a game about a vampire who really needs to get up an escalator by any means necessary. It was released on PS5 And PC on June 11th after an early access period lasting two years. You really are the most devious vampire... I enjoyed what I played of V Rising in its early access state, but felt like the more linear progression system held it back, how has my opinion changed since? Find out!
