The combat looks simple and enjoyable, and if it holds up to what I expected, I...

Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor – PC Preview

Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is a new bullet-hell roguelite available in Early Access. It is being developed by Funday Games (Don't Die In The West) with publishing by Ghost Ship Publishing (Spellrogue, Deep Rock Galactic [technically Coffee Stain Publishing]). It is currently available for PC via Steam and there is no indication that it will be available on other platforms. It's Like a Love Letter to Rock and Stone I don't know about you, but I love Deep Rock Galactic. Overall it has a simple concept, is easy to dive into, and is a hell lot of fun playing with friends. If you haven't checked it out, I highly recommend doing so. As a fan of DRG, I couldn't overlook when the Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor demo hit Steam a while back. I was itching to get my hands on it for more and here we ...

Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden- PS5 Review

Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden is a choice-centered action RPG developed by DONTNOD, creators of Life is Strange and more recently, Vampyr. And published by Focus Home, I mean Focus Entertainment, sorry, I meant PulluP Entertainment, sorry I mea- they’ve changed their name 3 more times since I started this review. Bae Or Bay? Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on the 13th of February 2024. After leaving the life is strange series in the hands of developer Deck-Nine, DONTNOD have moved onto making more original games like JUSANT, Twin Mirror, Harmony, and now Banishers. Does this pivot pay off? Gameplay There will be minor spoilers for the first hour or so of the game here, so if you’d like to go in completely blind, best to leave now. Banishers sta...

Palworld – PC Preview

Palworld an amazing mix of Pokémon, ARK, Minecraft and Rust. Developed and published by PocketPair and is available on the Xbox consoles and Steam. Palworld has been met with a huge welcome from the community so far with over 5 Million New players in the first 3 days after launch! Palworld is a great game but with most new games there are always the bugs and server issues on online multiplayer. Not to mention the controversies regarding some of the art of the game some people speculating that it is partially from Pokémon. However, I have not seen any facts regarding this issue besides people speculating.  Palworld AKA Pokémon with guns I was very excited to jump into this game as a lot of the new players were as well. please leave a comment below what part of the game were you mos...

Granblue Fantasy Relink PC Review

Granblue Fantasy Relink is an Action RPG, developed by Cygames. The series has been around since 2014 as a turn-based RPG mobile app. Sadly this mobile game is only available in Japan and still running the last 10 years with new campaigns. They even have crossover characters from Anime and Manga that were popular at those times. Though you can also watch the Granblue Fantasy anime to catch up on the story before going through Relink. Granblue Fantasy takes the luxury of both flying and cruising into one beautiful package. Well, until the sky pirates appear and they shoot anchors at you. Not enough Granblue Fantasy? Well, there is a fighting game that has some very unique mechanics that has you planning out your matches. Now onto the review of the game before I give away too much! Ga...

Cuisineer – PC Review

Through my journey in Cuisineer I've learned some things. Food is very paw-erful and if you know what you're doing, you'll be the cat's meow. Don't worry, there'll be more cat puns.  Cuisineer is an Action, Adventure, RPG developed by perfectly named BattleBrew Production and published by Marvelous Europe and XSEED. I originally heard about this game through Steam Next Fest in June and fell in love with the demo. This hidden gem of a game has been the cat's meow ever since and it's well earned.  The love and support the community shows for this game before it's even released is both impressive and heartwarming. The devs even made a Twitter for Pom, the protagonist of the game in 2021 showing off fan-made content. Gameplay The story of Cuisineer starts with Pom returning home after rec...

Silent Hope – PC Review

My wife peaked over my shoulder to see that the cow and chicken seemed familiar to her. When I told her that was the old Harvest Moon chicken and cow, she also pointed out something else. She saw Rune Factory in the gameplay and asked about if it had a romance option. I told her and she looked at me like it was my fault.  Silent Hope is an Action Hack and Slash RPG that was developed by Marvelous and published by XSEED Games. It felt like they were keeping this game under wraps since there was never any mention of the game. The game's initial release was Oct. 3rd and available on the Nintendo Switch and Steam.  There aren't many details that I can find about the production of Silent Hope or any issues when it started.   For all of the silence in this game, I'm amazed there isn't a hill...

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty – PS5 Review

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is a massive expansion for the main game Cyberpunk 2077 released by game developers CD Projekt Red on 27th September. The expansion now offers up a whole new standalone story to that offered up in Cyberpunk 2077. I got a chance to take a closer look at the expansion and all it has to offer. Be warned, minor spoilers follow: Taking Liberties I grew to love the Cyberpunk 2077 universe fully only in recent months. Initially, I was deterred at first by its rough patch on release. Having followed its roadmap to its present state I'm now eager to play this new expansion. How can it improve and move the story forward? What new things has the developers included in it? If you are the same and love the game comment below! GAMEPLAY This addition to the Cyb...
