SDCC always has the best reveals. That’s a fact. And a very big reason I long to attend one day. This year is no different. What is different is this new statuette from Mighty Jaxx‘s luxury statue product brand Superkraft Lab. In a move away from their previous Transformers: Till All Are One and Batman: Birth of Justice pieces, the premium line has unveiled a legendary succubus from the iconic Darkstalkers game series. That’s right, it’s a Morrigan Statue. Before you fall in love be warned though, this is not your average collection piece, nor does it have the price tag of one!
Beauty and Darkness
When this news landed in my inbox I admit I stared at the pictures an unholy amount. I just could not get over the level of detailing in the images. It makes me wonder how awe-inspiring it must be in real life. This is an art piece, not just a collectible statue. Which seems to have been the aim of the Superkraft Lab artists.
“We aim to not just create a unique rendition of Morrigan and Lilith, but also to show their deep connection within the Darkstalkers universe. The team put a lot of thought and effort into the design process and execution to make this statue an instant classic, and we hope fans and collectors alike will resonate emotionally with the lore of Morrigan.” said Marthin Agusta, Creative Director at Superkraft

We Belong Together
What just can you expect from this Morrigan Statue? Quite a lot! But then this is Mighty Jaxx and Superkraft Lab we are talking about! The piece itself is in 1/3 scale and stands 72 cm in height, with a width of 41cm and depth of 43cm. She does not shy away. There is no doubt this a piece for front and centre of your collection.
Creative Director Marthin Agusta, along with sculptors Gabriel Laet, Marthin Agusta and Vitor Hugo Oliveira have done an incredible job with the design of this figure. This is taken to the next level thanks to the hand-painting by Diana Löffler. Each element has quite obviously been lovingly and painstakingly brought to life thanks to their meticulous detail and nuanced colour techniques.

You can not only see but feel the character lore and legacy in this Morrigan Statue as it captures the long-awaited reunion of Morrigan and Lilith. The deliberate positioning of Lilith coinciding with the swirling bats enhances that otherworldly Darkstalkers feeling. You could be forgiven for forgetting that this is moment re-created using polystone resin.

The themed base has been inspired by anti-heroine’s own succubus lore. Complete with weathered textures and occult embellishments. Whilst Morrigan herself sits on an ethereal seat, legs crossed she looks comfortable in her power. Which is not easy to convey in a figure!
My Beauty Can Overcome Brains And Brawn
As beautiful as this Morrigan Statue is, fans also have the chance to make it even better. Or at least more to your own tastes. Yes, I’m talking about customisations. Varying from switching out arms to be holding a chalice or bat, to choosing a different colourway and even adding in Morrigan’s faithful companion, Lucien the Servant. The option is there for you. For a price of course. Each switch out arm will cost an additional $99 (USD) and Lucien costs an additional $399.

In terms of different variations the default is the Player 1 colourway which costs $2,399. If you want to customise the statuette into either a Player 2 or Player 3 version, these are available for an upgrade cost of $199. You can also choose to enhance the Ring of Isis detailing which sits at the bottom of the statue. Simply pay $749 for it to be platinum plated and a real crystal added. The costs keep adding up if you want to add a display pedestal ($299), a standard Moducase ($449) or a Mooducase with lights ($499)

Whilst most Darkstalkers fans will appreciate the missing shoe and it’s lore, there will be a complimentary additional right boot in case feet just aren’t your thing! Each collectible’s premium package will also contain a numbered certificate of authenticity.
Given In To Temptation
Whilst this Morrigan Statuette was officially launched at SDCC, don’t worry worldwide fans, global pre-orders are now open via Superkraft’s official webstore. As with all Superkraft Lab releases, this statue will not be reissued. The statue will begin shipping from July 2026, which given the level of detail in this figure is more than understandable!
Did I mention that with every purchase made you will be entered into a raffle to win an ultra-rare Kagami Edition? This version is available exclusively through this raffle and only one in the world will exist. Will it be yours?
