Aspyr, the studio behind 2024’s Tomb Raider Trilogy Remaster and the recently announce Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver Remaster, have announced a STAR WARS Episode I: Jedi Power Battles remaster for PC and consoles. Originally available for the Dreamcast, PlayStation and Gameboy Advance between 2000-2002, the updated version is due to launch early next year.
This Is Where The Fun Begins
Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original STAR WARS Episode I: Jedi Power Battles with this fast-paced lightsaber action game featuring enhanced gameplay and controls, environments, game modes, and more. Use the power of the Force and your trusty lightsaber against legions of droids, assassins, and other legendary foes. Look forward to revisiting locations from The Phantom Menace like Naboo, Theed Palace, Coruscant and more.

More Fun Upfront
In this release of STAR WARS Episode I: Jedi Power Battles you can expect to have access to more content than original from the get-go. 13 new characters are available to select from the beginning, and all levels are unlocked. This also includes secret levels and characters such as Darth Maul and Queen Amidala. Couch co-op is returning along with the VS and training modes that were introduced in later releases of the game. What’s more, classic cheat codes are also included. More games should allow us to play in “Big Head” mode, so we’re glad to see that’s still in tact.
It’s great to see not only all the original content available from the beginning but also newly added stuff all unlocked too. This means you can sit down on day one with your friends and relive the glory days and nostalgia of movie tie-in games.
STAR WARS Episode I: Jedi Power Battles launches Jan. 23, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam with pre-orders available now!
