Ratalaika, the studio that brought you Bouncy Bullets and A Summer with the Shiba Inn comes The Guise. A dark Metroidvania fairytale that features a young boy named Ogden attempting to hold on to what makes him human. The Guise was released on March 16th of this year. It is available on PlayStation, Xbox and Switch. How do you stop yourself from becoming a monster? I personally was not aware of The Guise, however, when it became available I was intrigued. Gamedec – PS5 Review

Gamedec is a cyberpunk-esque point-and-click game developed by Ansher Publishing that was previously released on Switch and PC before making the switch over to PlayStation. Dying to become a detective? Gamedec is certainly a unique game, that I think you would struggle to find any game that is of similar playability. Donut Dodo is another excellent addition to the revitalising of 2D platformer's that those who grew up in the 80s were accustomed to. Being a relatively new company that was founded in 2020, Pixel Games already has an impressive resume of 2D arcade adventure games, that focuses on "creating classic, pick up and play, pixel art games for modern consoles."
