The Guise – PS5 Review

Ratalaika, the studio that brought you Bouncy Bullets and A Summer with the Shiba Inn comes The Guise. A dark Metroidvania fairytale that features a young boy named Ogden attempting to hold on to what makes him human. The Guise was released on March 16th of this year. It is available on PlayStation, Xbox and Switch. How do you stop yourself from becoming a monster? I personally was not aware of The Guise, however, when it became available I was intrigued. I must say that however, I was pleasantly surprised. The Guise definitely exceeded my expectation. Gameplay The Guise offers engaging storytelling, with a mixture of exploration. Platforming and combat, which is sure to draw you in. The story begins with a young orphaned boy named Ogden. Whose curiosity gets the better of him a...

Gamedec – PS5 Review

Gamedec is a cyberpunk-esque point-and-click game developed by Ansher Publishing that was previously released on Switch and PC before making the switch over to PlayStation. Dying to become a detective? Gamedec is certainly a unique game, that I think you would struggle to find any game that is of similar playability. Both the rich and the poor use it to escape the reality of life itself, however, there are always consequences when it comes to living a life that is not your own. This is where you, Gamed...

Donut Dodo is available now to buy on steam and switch. Defeat the evil dodo and reclaim your donuts! Donut Dodo is not a game I would typically play, that being because I am unfortunately a millennial, and I did not grow up surrounded by the summers filled of playing on the arcade machines, however, I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by this game. Gameplay You play as the baker Billy Burns, who has to outwit the evil Dodo and his ...
