Road 96: Mile 0 – PS5 Review

Road 96: Mile 0 is the prequel to the hit Road 96 by DixiArt which hit PlayStation in April 2022. Road 96: Mile 0 is out on PlayStation, Xbox and PC from 4th April. A disappointing lack of kicks on Route 96 When Road 96 was released last year, I reviewed it, and you can find it here. I was eager to play the prequel and see how the story started. Heading back to Petria seemed like a no-brainer, and it excited me. Gameplay Road 96: Mile 0 is a first-person adventure that places you in the heart of an area called White Sands in Petria. During the game, you alternate between 2 friends, Zoe and Kaito. If Kaito seems familiar to you, you may remember him from Lost In Harmony, another DixiArt title. For those who have already played Road 96, you will be familiar with Zoe, who is one of the ma...

Resident Evil 4 (2023 Remake) – PS5 Review

Resident Evil 4 is widely thought of as the best Resident Evil title of all time. Capcom started remaking some of its games in 2019, this started with the launch of Resident Evil 2. This is the latest remake coming 18 years after it was originally released. Over Here, Stranger For as long as I can remember, I've been a huge Resident Evil fan. No matter what you witnessed, whether it was the first zombie reveal or crows crashing through windows to peck you to death. There was sure to be a scare or two. So I jumped at the chance to check out everyone's favourite title. Gameplay First released in 2005 Resident Evil 4 had everyone talking about it. Resident Evil is a horror series by Capcom, in earlier games, it revolved around zombies. The 4th instalment saw a change to change to game...

Deceive Inc – PS5 Review

Deceive Inc puts you in the shoes of a spy. This great title comes from a team of 18 members at the Canadian developer Sweet Bandits Studio. If you've ever wanted to follow in the footsteps of James Bond or Ethan Hunt this could be the title for you. Your mission should you choose to accept it I was a massive fan of the game Spy Vs Spy in the mid-1980s. I remember spending hours with a friend setting traps and looking for items to escape. Deceive Inc looks like it has the potential to be this generation's Spy vs Spy. Needless to say, I jumped at the chance to test my spy skills against the best the internet has to offer. Gameplay Deceive Inc is a fantastic multiplayer game, where you can play solo or as a team of 3.  The mission entails infiltrating the designated location undetect...

With Cross-Save it is possible to access your character in any format (although you will need the expansion for each format) Eyes Up Guardian A week has gone by since the launch of Lightfall. I wanted to leave a week to complete the campaign and have my own views, as there are lots of thoughts going around the community right now. With over 3300 hours of play in Destiny, It is safe to say I have seen a lot of changes since it launched in 2014. I have been extremely excited to see the launch of LightFall which marks Destiny 2's 6th year. Gameplay Destiny 2 is a first person action shooter, that has taken us on a tour of the sola...

Playstation State Of Play February 2023

PlayStation's State Of Play for February 2023 was a great showing of what is coming soon in the world of PlayStation. Lengthier than normal running at 45 minutes. The Future Is Bright With the launch of PSVR2 it should have been obvious that State Of Play would kick off with some new titles. I was extremely surprised at the variety of games available across the entire State Of Play. PSVR2 The Foglands PSVR2 Coming 2023 Explore the unknown, face monsters, scavenge loot, and try to make it back before the fog swallows you. There's something magical about being immersed in the foglands, a roguelike adventure where you discover old secrets and uncover new ones. Deliver Us Mars – PS5 Review

Deliver Us Mars is the follow-up to the excellent 2018 hit Deliver Us The Moon. KeokeN Interactive are a dutch developer and both titles run using the impressive Unreal Engine 4. Deliver Us Mars is out now on PC via Steam and Epic Game Store. Consoles will also see a release of the title and that is what we are checking out today. Boldly Go Where No-one Has Gone Before I really enjoyed Deliver Us The Moon, so when this was announced it went straight on my Playstation Wishlist. The thought of being an astronaut was just too much to pass up. Gameplay In spite of the fact that Deliver Us Mars takes place 10 years after the events on the moon, the game isn't a direct sequel. Due to this, gamers can experience it as a standalone title. Personally, I strongly recommend playing the origin...

Clunky Hero – Playstation 4 Review

Clunky Hero is the latest wacky platform hit from Estonian Developer Chaos Monger Studio. Combining platforming, Metroidvania, and RPG elements with tons of humour. This offers a strong storyline that will appeal to gamers who enjoy platformers. It's a fun game where you can talk to characters, do side quests, buy and sell items, and swap weapons and accessories, all the whilst laughing at itself. When You Order Armor From Wish Clunky Hero appealed to me when I first saw the trailer. Its story just sounded utterly bonkers and the narration tied everything into a lovely parcel. Available for both PC and Consoles (Playstation, Nintendo Switch and Xbox) Gameplay A 2D platformer that sets out the story straight away, your wife has been kidnapped and turned into some "duck-faced woman" ...

Saturnalia – PS5 Review

Saturnalia comes from the creative minds at Santa Ragione. It is inspired and influenced by the folklore of Sardinia, Italy. This survivor-horror adventure may have you lost in its labyrinth of a village, the structure which changes every time all your characters die. Twists and Turns Await In Saturnalia Seeing the trailers for Saturnalia, those slightly older gamers will struggle not to notice the familiar art style. My mind first jumped to the music video by the Norwegian band A-ha which used the same watercolour style. It grabbed me straight away as I was interested in how this would work in a game setting. Gameplay Saturnalia is a mix of Survival Horror and Adventure. The quaint village of Gravoi is the setting for our four protagonists. Gravoi is celebrating its own Saturnalia...
