A Rundown Of The Announcements From Ubisoft Forward

Yesterday it was the Ubisoft Forward event and along came with it a handful of new announcements in the world of Assassins Creed. Here’s a rundown of the announcements.

A Giant Step For Assassins Creed

Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the next instalment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, will launch worldwide in 2023. In addition, the roadmap of the brand’s future has been unveiled with the next two HD flagship games Codename RED and Codename HEXE as part of the Codename INFINITY hub, along with the AAA mobile game Codename JADE and more information about the collaboration with Netflix.

Assassins Creed Mirage will be available on Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, Playstation 4/5, and PC with no official release date yet. Mario + Rabbids also got some new DLC news in the form of an old friend. It looks like the familiar face of Rayman is heading to the game on the 20th of October. Mario + Rabbids is available on the Nintendo Switch.

Set sail for Skull and Bones. Ubisoft revealed two brand new trailers for Skull and Bones. Discover the bloody race between corporations and pirates to control the Indian Ocean and get a glimpse of the formidable weaponry players will use to secure their shares. Skull and Bones is launching on 8th November 2022, on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation5, Stadia, Amazon Luna, and Windows PC through the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store. Players can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ on PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna to access the game on day one.

They Just Keep Coming

Just Dance 2023 Edition, the newest instalment of the 1 Music Video Game Franchise of All Time, will launch on 22nd November on the Nintendo Switch system, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is available for pre-order on Nintendo Switch at the Ubisoft Store. The game will also be available on Stadia at a later date.

Rainbow Six Mobile, is a free-to-play, tactical first-person shooter mobile game from the renowned Rainbow Six franchise. The closed beta will be available beginning 12th September on Android for players in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, the Philippines, Singapore and India. Players can register for a chance to participate in the closed beta on Google Play.

Ubisoft also shared some details for The Division fans as three more games in its universe The Division 2, The Division Heartland and The Division Resurgence.

The Crew 2 introduces new ice tracks with season 6 episode 2. Dominion Frozen will be available starting September 14th.

Brawlhalla gets some new additions. Ubisoft in collaboration with Konami Digital Entertainment announced the latest Epic Crossover with characters Simon Belmont and Alucard launching on 19th October, just in time for Halloween.

Lastly, Netflix and Ubisoft are announcing plans to create three mobile games from some of the world’s most beloved game franchises to Netflix, starting in 2023. First announced today at Ubisoft’s annual digital event Ubisoft Forward, the three games will expand on the Valiant Hearts, Mighty Quest and Assassin’s Creed universes, and will be available exclusively on mobile to Netflix members around the world with no ads or in-app purchases.
