40+ Games Now Using AMD FidelityFX Technology

AMD FidelityFX is an open-source collection of optimised visual technologies to make it easier for developers with high-quality effects in games from AMD. Think along the lines of Nvidia's ray tracing, DLSS and similar technologies. Some of the FidelityFX features are: HDR Mapper Denoiser Screen Space Reflections Contrast Adaptive Sharpening FidelityFX is now supported in over 40 games, helping those with AMD hardware to get the best out of their tech all whilst looking glorious. There's a whole platoon of developers taking these technologies on board and bringing them to their games. Animal Crossing: New Horizons Has Best First Year Sales In Europe

Nintendo has reported that Animal Crossing: New Horizons has had the best first-year sales, of any Nintendo game in Europe. This news comes in reporting that over 7 million copies (physical and digital) have been sold since it's release on the Nintendo Switch in March 2020. Since it's launch, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has received a good handful of free updates. Whilst there's been some controversy with these updates with fans of the older games saying some of this stuff should have been in the game at launch, I think it's a good idea to stagger features such as diving into a free content update after launch.
