Celebrating 3 million players and its ongoing partnership with Vive, Zero Latency is launching a global VR gaming competition with a top prize of $15,000. Champions of the Undead will pit players worldwide against each other in the massively popular VR Arcade Shooter, Undead Arena. Have you got what it takes?

World War Z-ero

Zero Latency has been working with HTC Vive for the past 10 years, bringing cutting-edge technology to players worldwide. As global leaders in immersive entertainment, they now operate 70+ venues in 25+ countries. The Champions of the Undead tournament is another step in bringing audiences thrilling experiences they can’t get elsewhere. They recently rolled out the HTC Vive Focus 3, a wireless headset – without a backpack or sensors – capable of streaming 5K content.

Slay To Win

So, you want to be in with a chance of scooping that trip to Las Vegas and the grand prize of $15,000? All you have to do is book a session at one of Zero Latencey’s venues, play Undead Arena and get yourself to the top of your region’s scoreboard. The globe has been split into 3 regions for this competition – Europe & Middle East, The Americas and Asia Pacific. If you manage to claim the top spot, you’re in with a chance of going to the grand final. If not, 2 runners-up from each region – and the 2 non-winning finalists – will get a HTC VR Elite Headset. Not bad at all.

The competition runs from 1oth August to 6th September so time is ticking. The Las Vegas final will be held on the 5th of October. Full terms and conditions can be found on Zero Latency’s website as can the leaderboards, which are already looking spicy. Plenty of scores at just over 40k with just one player in Europe storming ahead with 63900 points at the time of writing. Happy Hunting.
