[REDACTED] is a fast-paced isometric roguelike developed by Striking Distance Studios and published by KRAFTON, Inc. A shadowy agent watches Black Iron Prison spiral into chaos and you take the role of guards trying to escape the prison's monstrosities and rivals. The game takes on the Black Iron Prison with a complete new twist of battling through rooms and rooms of monsters while upgrading weapons and learning about a vast amount of characters along the way. Baby Blues Nightmares – PC Review

Last week we unveiled the release date trailer for Baby Blues Nightmares, a survival horror created by Steelkrill Studio that has you play through the eyes of, well, a baby. A toddler to be specific. Today I'm back with a full review of the game. Baby Blues Nightmares releases today, 16th September, on Steam. I'm gonna need a warm blanky and a cup of hot chocolate after this. Baby Blues Nightmares first caught my attention as it reminded me of the game Among The Sleep. Playing through the eyes of a toddler in horror games is a premise we don’t see all that often. And I do like my horror games. Gameplay Baby Blues Nightmares is a survival horror stealth game where you play as a toddler and have to do what it takes in order to survive. The gameplay is simple because just as in real...

Vampire Survivors – PS5 Review

Vampire Survivors is a 2022 roguelike shoot'em up game developed and published by Luca Glanace. The game has been so popular that Glanace went on to found 25 person strong studio Poncle, who work solely on the game. Vampire Survivors is initially set in Italy, where hordes of monsters have been summoned by the face of the game, our very own evil Bisconte Draculó. Which very closely resembles the tale of Count Dracula. He has set monsters upon the land to ravage. The Belpaese family and other heroic survivors take it upon themselves to hunt down and defeat Draculó. The later introduced DLCs include more heroes, more locations and even more chaotic fun than before! The game had been in an early access period from December 2021 and has now finally hit the PlayStation storefront. After a lo...

The Mortuary Assistant – PS5 Review

The PC has gone into the freezer and the PS5 edition of Mortuary Assistant has been rolled out. DarkStone Digital’s massive horror hit has finally made its way to consoles, allowing more players access to Rebecca and her spooky, mysterious backstory. I’ll admit, I’m a little bit late to the mortuary party. I’ve owned the original game on Steam since it came out but have never been brave enough to try it out for myself. With the rollout of the console version, it seemed like the best time to dive into the story of Rebecca and River Fields Mortuary. Checkout our other Playstation Reviews here... or if you want to read more of my ramblings check out my author page! A night shift in a Mortuary? What could possibly go wrong? Killer Klowns From Outer Space – PS5 Review

Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game is a 7v3 asymmetrical horror game based on the 1988 movie of the same name, releasing on June 4th, 2024, on Steam, Xbox Series S/X and PS5 can Killer Klowns fill that Friday the 13th shaped hole in our hearts? Ki-Ki-Ki-Honk-Honk-Honk I love a good Asym game, sinking thousands of hours into dead by daylight, Texas chainsaw massacre, and others. the loss of Friday the 13th the game was a devastating loss to the community, especially for those who relished stalking players in atmospheric maps as the menacing Jason Voorhees, or as a victim evading his pursuit. Thankfully, Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game (mostly) succeeds in being as chaotic and fun, and even more so in some areas. Gameplay Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game, or as I’l...

V Rising – PS5 Review

V Rising is a game about a vampire who really needs to get up an escalator by any means necessary. It was released on PS5 And PC on June 11th after an early access period lasting two years. You really are the most devious vampire... I enjoyed what I played of V Rising in its early access state, but felt like the more linear progression system held it back, how has my opinion changed since? Find out! Gameplay V Rising is an online survival game first and foremost with a lot of inspiration from the Diablo series evident in its HUD, isometric view, and artstyle. The game may look similar to the Diablo series and an ARPG at first (even pointed out by a fellow writer when I was typing up this review) but V Rising carves out its niche with its survival gameplay. Survival Mechanics Now ...

Pneumata – PC Preview

I got a chance to check out an early preview of the game Pneumata. The game is a survival horror FPS and was developed by Deadbolt Interactive and published by Perp Games. The game should be released sometime this year, but I don't have the specifics or pricing. You can add Pneumata to your wishlist like I have if you're interested. The hell is going on! Gameplay The segment I got to play for Pneumata had me exploring a detention centre. While investigating, I came across some plans to find explosives and use them to reach the medical wing. The gameplay is similar to later versions of the Resident Evil games, primarily the items and inventory. Your inventory has limited space and goes buy a grid system. I'm not sure if the player will be able to expand their storage, but you can offlo...
