Amber Isle – PC Review

Amber Isle is a cosy management game with crafting and exploration. Developed by Ambertail Games and published by Team17. Available for £24.99, this adorable dino adventure arrived on Steam today! However, Nintendo Switch gamers will have to wait until 31st October to get their hands on this cute prehistoric village sim game. Let's make a name for ourselves! Your (customisable) Paleofolk embark on an adventure, which is short-lived after they fall from the hot-air balloon they’re travelling on. Satisfactory – PC Review

Satisfactory is a first-person factory simulator set in an open world. It was originally available for the first year exclusively on Epic when it hit early access in March of 2019. Developed by Coffee Stain Studios (Goat Simulator) and published by Coffee Stain Publishing (Deep Rock Galactic, Valheim), it opened a new chapter with a 1.0 release in September. If you're looking to sink a lot of time into a game, pick it up today on Steam or the Epic Games store. Symmetry is so Satisfactory I'll just be flat out up front: I don't know when exactly I'll be done playing Satisfactory. I completely underestimated just how much depth it has brought to the table. Especially when you compare it to when it first went into early access. Needless to say I will be putting in quite a lot more time to t...

Dig VR Press Event Roundup

Recently I had the amazing opportunity with Thumb Culture to attend a Dig VR press event. Just Add Water and Wired Productions held the day-long event at the awesome DiggerLand theme park in Kent. Not only were we given the chance to experience the new Dig VR simulator game, but we also got to have a go on real-life diggers. Needless to say, mud was thrown around! We recently covered the news about the game releasing on 24th October. And so getting the chance to play Dig VR and chat to everyone involved made for a fantastic occasion. Enter Thumb Culture After having a meet and greet, and winding up Wired's Community Manager Steve with how close we lived to the venue, we were sorted into our groups and given a timetable of events. Our first item of the day was to go and play the Dig...

Storage Hunter Simulator – PC Preview

Storage Hunter Simulator is a management simulator game. Developed and published Racoons Studios and additionally published by BeardedBrothers.Games, Storage Hunter Simulator releases into early access on Steam, on October 10th. A used towel, that's $250 easy. The simulator genre never ceases to amaze me with how many concepts can spring forth from it. Storage Hunter Simulator has the player bidding on abandoned storage lockers and trying to make your money back, plus profit. I’m definitely coloured intrigued, and since this game will release in Early Access, there’s potential for far more content even further post-launch. Gameplay There’s no overall story to Storage Hunter Simulator. You dive right in by choosing between one of two characters, male or female. After choosing, y...

But as is the case in many ported games, there are some shortcomings. Have you played the game? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. Gameplay Upon starting Shadows of Doubt you are instantly met with a choice. You can dive right into a pre-generated tutorial ca...
