The Action RPG genre can be a tough one to break into. With series such as Diablo, Path of Exile, and the plethora of Warhammer ARPGs, to name but a few. The incredibly addictive nature of grinding, dungeon-delving, and loot-hoarding is one I've been a fan of for a long time. With Dragonkin: The Banished leaving Early Access and releasing on consoles, I knew I had to play it! Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection (MHS3) is an Adventure RPG from the company making bangers for 2026, Capcom. As the number shows, this is the third installment to the Monster Hunter Stories. The story of the game takes place 200 years after the events in MHS2. Now, since I got to play the second entry, I can tell the major improvements to this current game. So, without further ado, let's start the review and get some Monsties. New Super Lucky’s Tale – PS5 Review

With the world literally and figuratively burning as humanity marches ever forward towards annihilation, memories of a carefree childhood playing colourful 3D platformers feel like a surreal hallucination rather than something that actually happened. A simpler time when games shipped feature complete and bonus character costumes were unlocked with double jumps and not our wallets. Marathon is the latest IP from the creators of Halo and Destiny. Bungie joins the extraction shooter genre with this FPS, PvPvE style addition set in a failed human colony of the future. Who would have thought that we'd ever see the Legacy of Kain series again? Well, after last year's Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered, it looks like the franchise may be back! Inky Blinky Bob looks like it might be inspired by Choo-Choo Charles. As we take a mode of transportation, explore various islands, and hope we aren't eaten by a monster. Homura Hime – PC Review

Homura Hime is an action game from developers Crimson Dusk and publishing company PLAYISM. As this is their first game, Crimson Dusk jump into the gaming scene with quite an impressive offering. From the combat and parrying mechanics, to the beautiful and amazing character designs, this game checks every box on my list. But, with every good thing there are slight flaws. Solateria is an Action, Adventure Metroidvania from the creative minds at Studio Doodal. With publishing assistance from Shinsegae Information. Solateria has the look and feel of Hollow Knight, but with a heavy lean into parrying. Yes, I know what you're thinking. This is the second game in a row that has the Protag being fire based. With leaning hard on parrying being the main mechanic. The game is actually a blazing time that would have you learn your enemy's pattern and timing. Almost like a Souls like game since executing a perfect parry brings in more damage. So grab yourself the energy of your choice of energy drink and remember the golden rule when attempting Metroidvania bosses. Get some sleep and try again another day. While on Steam I was looking for a new FPS game, with some grungy visuals. And luckily I came across PIGFACE, published by DreadXP, and created by Titolovesyou, comes an ultra-violent shooter. Where we take down gangs, by any mean necessary. PIGFACE is currently in early access on Steam for £8.50, which is not that bad of a price. Murder has been served. Gameplay We play as a character, whose name I think is called Exit. Who awakes in an old rundown building with no recollection of why she is here. The player quickly finds out that a bomb has been surgically implanted into Exit's head. And must now fulfil missions for a secret team.
