Hellbreach: Vegas is a wave-based zombie co-op shooter moving from Early Access to a 1.0 release on Steam. It has been available in Early Access on Steam since early March this year, but solo indie developer Infinity Ape Studios has stuck to his 6-month timeline. My relationship with creature-collecting games is complicated. I occasionally enjoy them, but often find many aspects of them uninspired or frustrating. I left Pokemon behind in Gen 2. So when one comes along that subverts my expectations on several levels, it’s both wonderfully refreshing and a warm hug at the same time. Cattie is a Retro Action Platforming game developed by Vergiu Games. The game was originally released on Steam on Nov 14th, 2023.
