After roughly five and a half years in Early Access, Satisfactory has reached its 1.0 launch milestone. Satisfactory is a factory building game with elements of open-world exploration and combat. It can be played solo or up to 4 players co-operatively and is currently available on Steam and Epic Games Store.
Early Access Delivers Satisfaction
Many moons ago, we took a look at the Early Access launch of Satisfactory, which you can take a look at here. After five years of Early Access, and with a newly announced console edition in the works, budding Pioneers can now finish their mission and complete Project Assembly.
Pioneers, We Need You!
Coffee Stain Studios has launched the full version of their hit factory-building simulator Satisfactory. With over 6 million copies sold during Early Access, the 1.0 release delivers a full narrative overhaul complete with mysteries for players to uncover. Expanding on their success, Coffee Stain Studios has also revealed that a console edition is in development, looking to bring the conveyor-belt goodness to even more potential Pioneers.
In Satisfactory, players will need to uncover the mysteries of an alien planet. They take the role of Pioneers at FICSIT Inc. tasked with advancing Project Assembly. By exploiting natural resources and alien artefacts, Pioneers must produce and transport parts off-planet. Though the finer details of which are shrouded in mystery, players efforts are contributing to the Save The Day program. Humanity is counting on these dedicated Pioneers!
The 1.0 version also comes with various improvements and additions to late game that I’ll leave as a surprise rather than revealing here. Although there’s no set date for the console release, I’ll be keeping my eye out. Looking at the trailer, the game looks gorgeous. It also looks like you can create some crazy factory configurations, with interwoven conveyors and assembly lines.
Congratulations to Coffee Stain Studios on the full launch of Satisfactory.
