TeamKill Media has shared details on how they have been pushing the limits to get Quantum Error 4K 60fps for release.

Qunatum Error 4K 60fps Optimisation On PS5

In a post over on the official Twitter account for the game they outlined how their original target for the game has been exceeded.

“We’ve continued testing on QE to get things as perfect as possible and we are excited to say that PS5 QE will now run at 4K 60FPS with seamless gameplay fully using UE5 Lumen”

The team has pushed the original 2K resolution for the game and now has the First Person Shooter running at 60fps with a dynamic resolution. They also commented that they are experimenting with the Lumen and Nanite tech of Unreal Engine 5 as they try to learn what the technology in the engine is capable of achieving.

Responding to a follow-up comment on the post about the Unreal Engine 5 tools running on consoles they had this to say:

“Lumen and Nanite are amazing but just like anything, you have to play around with it and see what works and what doesn’t work, I always compare it to photoshop, photoshop gives you all the tools to do anything you can imagine but you have to learn how to use the tools and tech.”

The game launches on PS5 on November 3rd and is also in development for PC and Xbox for release at a future as of yet unannounced date.

Quantum Error Trophies

In a later post, they mentioned that the trophy list has 45 trophies including a Platinum, but they also made a point of noting that achieving this platinum may be quite elusive for some players:

Yeah there is 45 trophies including the Platinum, which speaking of the platinum… y’all are in for it.  We made it very challenging to achieve”
