Park Life
We all know that life finds a way. That’s just a fact. Did you know that post-release content also finds a way?
The people over at Frontier Games do. As a result, there’s some DLC for Jurassic World Evolution 2 called the ‘Early Cretaceous Pack’. I assume it’s because the 4 dinos that are included were knocking around during the cretaceous period.
Straight from the press release – the 4 dinosaurs on offer are;
- Kronosaurus is named after the King of the Titans, Kronos, as it is one of the largest ever pliosaurs, a carnivorous species of marine reptiles with powerful, paddle-like flippers to help it capture its prey.
- Dsungaripterus is a small and stout pterosaur, easily identified by its distinctive head crest and its long, upcurved jaw.
- Minmi is a small, tank-like dinosaur belonging to the ankylosaur family. Unlike other ankylosaurids, it has horizontally oriented bone plates running along the sides of its back, making the Minmi well-protected against predators.
- Wuerhosaurus is part of the stegosaurid family of dinosaurs. It sits low to the ground in order to feed on lower vegetation and uses tail spikes as a defense against any potential predators.

If you’re not familiar with Jurassic World Evolution 2 – it’s basically Jurassic Park meets Theme Park. Sound good? Gareth thought so – check out his review here!
Frontier recently said that the game hasn’t been selling as well as they’d have hoped, which is a real shame. Let’s hope that the developers continued support for the game means a larger audience is found.
Jurassic World Evolution 2: Early Cretaceous Pack will be available December 9 on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GeForce Now, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One for a suggested retail price of $7.99.
