Currently Playing – Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix

Please be aware this article contains gifs that may include flashing lights and patterns. I am a Fortnite Noob. At least when it comes to playing the game. I have watched people play it and loved every minute. I am also that not at all annoying person yelling I can see someone running, whilst my partner sprints about the map escaping storm after storm. Having never been much good at dual stick gaming for accessibility reasons, I never thought I'd get to enjoy the game first-hand. My only previous dalliance with the game was when my partner and I decided to stream us playing it together. Even then I found much more joy in driving off in golf carts then aiming for that precious Victory Crown. And then Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix came about. A short sweet season that changed everything. TheSpectrum Has Arrived…Again

We first revealed the news of the return of The Spectrum from PLAION and Retro Games Ltd back in August. And now it's officially on sale! This modern recreation of Sir Clive Sinclair’s legendary ZX Spectrum retains its original design while incorporating today’s technology. An 80s Icon The Spectrum is the first to faithfully replicate the design of the iconic 48k ZX Spectrum. At the time the Commodore 64, BBC Micro and ATARI 800XL shared a common aesthetic. This same aesthetic became synonymous with home computers. Which is what set the ZX Spectrum apart. It had a look and feel that had not been seen before. The Spectrum aims to bring back that nostalgic feeling to retro fans. Focusing on an authentic looking, sleek, minimalist design worthy of any display cabinet. Widespread accessibil...

Chicken Police: Into The HIVE! – PC Review

Chicken Police: Into The HIVE! is the follow up game to Chicken Police: Paint it RED! Which doesn't take a genius to figure out, so my apologies there. Developers The Wild Gentlemen and Publishers Joystick Ventures, promise the game to be a story driven, film-noir detective point and click adventure. But instead of humans, all the characters are animals or bug-anthropomorphised creatures. It was released earlier this month on Steam. If you don’t love chicken puns, please find the eggs-it Having read my review of silly point and click Death of the Reprobate, the PR team for Chicken Police: Into The HIVE! reached out and asked if I'd like to take their fun, strange and unique point and click game for a spin. Ever the one for fun, strange and unique, of course, I said yes. But did I have fu...
