Glitchpunk, the GTA-2 inspired will soon launch on the Steam Early Access platform. Glitchpunk will launch on to the Early Access programme on August 11th 2021. Players can expect a whole boatload of fun with this game.

Glitchpunk Early Access will launch with access to the first playable city, Baltia. The next city to be playable is Outpost Texas which will launch in three to four weeks time. In addition to these two cities, there will also be another two cities added to Glitchpunk during its road down the highway of Early Access. These two cities are Neo Tokyo and Moscow.

Each city will have its own characters, gangs and more, whilst sticking to the protagonist’s gripping story. There will be an early access road map launching shortly after the game hits Early Access, so keep your eyes open for that in the coming weeks.

So what is Glitchpunk?

You play as an android that is glitching, going against its own programming. This causes the android to challenge the megacorps and tyrannical governments of the dystopian near-future. Take on the drug-crazed gangs, irresponsible drivers, aggressive police and more across several cities. Lead your enemies on a chase across the city in a stolen car. No car? No problem. Take on the enemy with a variety of long-range and melee weapons. Upgrade your android body with tech that will allow you to manipulate surroundings or improve your character’s capabilities.
