0 Codemasters has officially announced that the next installment of their Formula One series will be released worldwide on the 10th of July 2020. It will be named F1 2020 and will be available across most platforms including the Google Stadia. With the release of F1 2020 Codemasters are also releasing a Schumacher special edition that comes with exclusive content and three days early access.
Within the F1 2020 Deluxe Schumacher Edition will get to drive as the legendary German driver Michael Schumacher in four of his most iconic cars. Players will also receive exclusive content including themed car liveries and driver customisation items, including a unique podium celebration. The four cars included in the F1 2020 Deluxe Schumacher Edition are:
- 1991: Jordan 191
- 1994: Benetton B194
- 1995: Benetton B195
- 2000: Ferrari F1-2000
New Features
F1 2020 will feature a major new game mode called My Team. This allows players to create their own F1 team that will take pride of place alongside the 2020 line up. This will offer a whole new experience for fans of the franchise. My Team and the critically acclaimed Career mode will allow players more flexibility with the choice of three-season lengths. Players can choose from the full 22 race season to a shorter one. This now includes Hanoi Circuit and Circuit Zandvoort.
For those who like to challenge friends, split-screen will be making its return with F1 2020. Alongside this, there will be new options designed to help new players match fair races with ease. These are both new and exciting features.
Codemasters are celebrating the 70th Anniversary of Formula 1. Therefore if you preorder a Special Edition version you will get some exclusive content. For those who are Steelbook fans, there will also be one available to purchase at selected retailers.
