My favourite kind of games are the ones that make you cry... and by cry I mean throw your controller at a wall because I definitely dodged that attack but I'm still somehow dead. Or cry because that jumpscare was just uncalled for and now I need to recover before I can make my way down another scary, dark corridor. I'm as old as the first Tomb Raider and feel like I've been playing games ever since. I'm a Playstation girlie that dabbles in Switch and PC games. Don't ask me about Bloodborne unless you're ready to listen to me ramble on for hours.

The Mortuary Assistant – PS5 Review

The PC has gone into the freezer and the PS5 edition of Mortuary Assistant has been rolled out. DarkStone Digital’s massive horror hit has finally made its way to consoles, allowing more players access to Rebecca and her spooky, mysterious backstory. I’ll admit, I’m a little bit late to the mortuary party. I’ve owned the original game on Steam since it came out but have never been brave enough to try it out for myself. With the rollout of the console version, it seemed like the best time to dive into the story of Rebecca and River Fields Mortuary. Checkout our other Playstation Reviews here... or if you want to read more of my ramblings check out my author page! A night shift in a Mortuary? What could possibly go wrong? Biomutant – Switch Review

Three years after its initial release, Biomutant has finally made its way to the Nintendo Switch! Marketed as an open post-apocalyptic RPG, Experiment 101's 2021 introduces new players and makes a call out to old fans as an invitation to restore the Tree of Life and rid the land of World Enders. As a game plagued with mixed reviews, I have never picked up Biomutant. With the new Switch release I thought it was finally time to see whether it lived up to the hype or played down to the critics. Saving the world from one World Ender at a time... Gameplay On the surface, Biomutant is an RPG with a very simplistic plot and a black and white choice system. Unlike games like Life is Strange or any release from Quantic Dream, deciding whether you side with 'light' or 'dark' doesn't feel lik...

As the perfect addition to the library of fans of Evo Explores and Monument Valley, the game combines simple yet beautiful graphics and perspective puzzles to build a mystic world and story filled with intrigue perfect for puzzle fans. With an introduction to Aarik, as well as his father, old pet and mother, the mystery of the story is present from the get go. The kingdom is already in ruin but there is not explanation for why it's so quiet, why Derek (Aarik's old pet) is dead and why his father refuses to wake up and get out of bed. The controls for the g...
