Here we are, our final piece of the Phantom White puzzle. It’s the turn of the Razer Blackwidow V4 75, a customisable 75% keyboard. Making itself look incredible in the Phantom White range, we are once again massively thankful to Razer for sending this through.
The Only Phantom That Belongs In This House
Retailing at £199.99 for a fully assembled, albeit US layout edition, you immediable see why it’s a popular keyboard. We are going to dive into some of its features and let you know whether or not you should be picking this up. Not only that, but whether you should be investing in the rest of the Phantom White range.
Design Features
The First thing to mention about the Razer Blackwidow V4 75 is that it is massively customisable. You can purchase the keyboard in its barebones form, however, not in the Phantom White model. However, you can still change how the keyboard is set up. Compatible with 3 or 5-pin switches, you can easily change the pre-loaded switches to get your desired feel of the keys. Although with the Orange Tactile switches installed, I’m not sure why you would want to. With its tactile and quiet keystrokes, the Razer Blackwidow V4 75 feels great to type on.

The RGB on this Phantom White model is beautiful. Featuring lighting behind each key as well as underglow on each side. The seethrough plastic gives it a glorious glow. Paired with the other members of the Phantom White suite, the RGB all match and bring something astounding to my black desk.
Other features include the Razer Snap Tap, giving the ability to prioritise the latest input between two keys. So get it set up in Synapes on the A and D key, and you can switch direction faster than a rat up a drainpipe. It makes those first-person shooters more fun to play, and being able to change direction quickly gives you an advantage over your opponents.
Featuring an up to 8000 Hz polling rate, meaning you get super-fast reactions on those inputs. As well as anti-ghosting in there as well. This keyboard is an all-around beast. It’s taken over the prestige of sitting on my desk full-time. In fact, the whole of the Phantom White range is dominating that real estate.

Plush Time
Inside the box is a nice soft keyboard wrist rest, attached through magnets, which gives you long-lasting comfort. Or at least it is meant to, I don’t tend to use wrist rests as i have found my comfy position when typing. You know that’s true, because I spend all day typing Teams messages and emails in my very important and busy day job. Honest Guv’nor.
You have a couple of media keys in the top right corner. One that mutes the audio on your PC, which is handy now and again, the other is set to a multi-function giving you access to pausing your music, or skipping tracks with a double tap. Unfortunately, the multi-button can not be remapped, but the other button can. Although with its purpose etched into the key, I’m not sure what you would remap it to.

Oh, I’ve not mentioned the build quality, have I? With so many layers inside this keyboard, you would be amazed. Featuring so many materials, from foam to aluminium, all the way to the translucent ABS keycaps. It’s built to last and last it will.
Final Thoughts
The Razer Blackwidow V4 75 is an incredible keyboard. If you can look past the fact that it’s wireless, you are in for an absolute treat. Sitting alongside the other Phantom White products, your desk will get an insane upgrade in both looks and function.
I absolutely love turning my computer on and being greeted with the bright glow of RGB. However, I get the added benefit of this being an incredible keyboard to type on. Honestly, the keycaps are amazing, the switches are beautiful, and the look, insane. Razer have hit the high notes with this keyboard. Bravo.
The Razer Blackwidow V4 75 receives the Thumb Culture Platinum Award.
