Indie developers Bitfall Studios from Germany in partnership with Toplitz Productions have announced a new early access title. That title is non-other than Terrascape.

A city-building, deck-builder puzzle game!

If you read my latest review you will know I am a huge fan of deck builder titles. I haven’t always been and this is somewhat of a bug I have recently caught. Keep reading to find out what Terrascape has to offer.

Terrascape than just a city builder

The announcement came yesterday that Terrascape will be coming to Steam as an early access title on April 5th. Just less than a month away, however, if you can’t wait we have more news for you. There will be a Beta playtest on Steam starting 16th March 3pm (UK) and will run for one week.

Terrascape promises a unique approach to a city builder not only with the deck building elements. But with procedural maps and an epic amount of potential influencing factors that will challenge your gameplay. With a whole host of extra content in the making and no two maps ever being the same, this city builder has more than just potential.

“We’re thrilled to be able to share our own take on the city builder genre with TerraScapes relaxed card based mechanic, we’re also looking forward to seeing the endless creative possibilities that the player community will explore during the games beta playtest’ Said Nico Pattmann, Co-Founder and CEO of Bitfall Studios GmbH.

If Terrascape ticks all the gaming boxes for you, then make sure you head on over to the Steam page to keep yourself up to date. Also, don’t forget to let us know in the comments if you end up on the Playtest.
