The gap between video game remakes and remasters compared to their original counterparts is simultaneously shortening and widening. On the one hand, we have The Last of Us 2 getting a remaster 3 and a half years after initial release. On the other, we have Bubble Ghost which is getting a remake after a whopping 37 years. Originally released on the Atari 1040 ST, with versions on other consoles including a 1990 GameBoy version, Bubble Ghost Remake is coming soon to Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Epic Games Store.
Bubble Ghost Remake Demo Available Now
Publisher Selecta Play and developer Nakama Game Studio are also excited to reveal that Bubble Ghost Remake is getting a demo on Steam and Nintendo Switch. Based on the nostalgic platformers first released on consoles like the Commodore 64 and Game Boy, Bubble Ghost Remake recaptures the spirit of the original games but brought to life with modern visuals, narrative and gameplay. You can get a look at it in the brand-new gameplay trailer below, and if that’s not enough, there’s a demo available to check out starting 18th November.
