The newest entry is an absolutely perfect entry into the NAS world. Costing a mere £169.99 (although at the time of writing the Black Friday sale is on, reducing this to £135.99), this is a great way to get your own storage solution installed at home.

So without boring you too much, let’s dive into some of the biggest features of the 2300.

Design Features

The biggest feature of the 2300 is simply being a local storage system. No more expensive cloud storage costs, you can simply make your own cloud system from the safety of your home network. Being able to hold a storage size of up to 60 TB you can save pictures, videos, and files. You can even turn this into a home cinema server.

So with two pull-out trays, you can make use of two hard drives. Installation and set up is a doddle, the NAS itself does all the hard work. Once you’ve booted it up following the easy instructions, you can connect using a phone app and complete the setup in minutes. Within 20 minutes of unboxing the UGREEN NASync DH2300, we were up and running and backing up photos from my phone.

Being able to connect through your desktop or any mobile device by the dedicated app. You can control it from anywhere. Connecting with another device is as simple as well. Simply use the NFC chip and tap your phone against it to connect.

Featuring a whole host of apps to install, you can make this what you want it to be. So many options that, honestly, you will have so much fun setting this up. I know people who have used their NAS to create game servers, as well as multiple storage solutions.
