As always, we love UGREEN products here at Thumb Culture, and when they offered to send these, we jumped. In a nice little package, we received the UGREEN Revodock, the Finder Pro and a lovely 8-port fast charger. So all that was left was to unbox them and give them a little play with in every day life.
UGREEN, More Like Forever Green.
So trying to decide which items to start with is always the difficult choice, but I think in this instance we will have to go with the Finder Pro.
UGREEN Finder Pro
If you’ve ever lost your keys, or even maybe a small child. The UGREEN Finder Pro is a neat little piece of kit. It works incredibly simply, just connect it to either your IOS or your Android device, and you’re pretty much away you go. Being able to track the device in your mobile phone of choice means you’ll never misplace anything ever again.
Although, just be careful, as if you do lose something, it makes a right racket! I guess that’s a good thing, just don’t try to use this to find your keys in the dark! Thankfully, though, on a full charge, you get up to 12 months of battery life. So even if you don’t realise something is lost straight away, you’ll be all good.
UGREEN Revodock
This little neat 6-in-1 USB-C hub went instantly into my work computer. Having limited USB ports, the UGREEN Revodok was an instant hit. Even being able to plug in multiple devices at once, and not skip a beat. I would always recommend one of these hubs when you have a laptop, purely for the expanded ports.
Diving a little deeper into just what it has, boasting 4 10Gbps data ports, 2 in USB A and 2 in USB C. Then you have a 100w pass-through charging port, so if, like me, your laptop chargers use a USB-C cable, you can plug this into that cable and still charge your laptop. Then there is the 4K USB-C display port. Boasting a 60Hz refresh rate as well, giving you plenty of options when it comes to connecting your devices.
Weighing only 69g, there is a lot of tech in this little hub. It also means it’s super easy to pop in your bag and use it during your travels. Being compatible with a wide range of other USB-C devices, including laptops, phones, even the Steam Deck and AR Glasses.
UGREEN Desktop Fast Charger
To give it its full title, the UGREEN USB-C 200W 8-Port GaN Desktop Fast Charger is another great addition to your setup. With a powerful 200W ultra-high output, this device can power up to 8 devices simultaneously.
So what do you think you could use this for? Well I made use of it to charge my laptop, keep my phone topped up as well as keep my iPad ready for anything. I never profess to knowing how these desktop chargers work, but it must be magic. With 6 USB-C ports and 2 USB-A ports, you have plenty of choice when looking at your charging options.
The biggest flex that this 200W charging station has is that it can charge a MacBook Pro from zero to 41% in around 30 minutes. Giving you a fast and efficient charge. Alongside the GaNInfinity technology, you get protection against overheating, overcharging and even short circuits. It is a great bit of kit.
