0 Early last week Capcom announced a new update for Resident Evil Resistance. For those who haven’t had sight of this yet, It is an asymmetrical survivor horror experience. Resident Evil Resistance will come as a part of a bundle with the soon to be released Resident Evil 3 (April 2020)
New Masterminds
First Up, we have Alex Wesker, fans will recognise her from Resident Evil Revelations 2. Alex makes a perfect mastermind as she enjoys putting her subjects through psychological horrors and crazy experiments. Her playstyle puts an emphasis on traps and can call upon a vicious carnivorous plant called Yateveo.
Next up is Ozwell E. Spencer. Ozwell has been letting others do his dirty work through the Resident Evil series. He is the fourth mastermind of the title and takes a more hands-on approach this time around. Within his gift as one of the founders of Umbrella Corp, he uses the technology to generate a disintegration field that severely damages survivors.
New Maps
Capcom has announced two new maps that are coming to Resident Evil Resistance :
The Casino – An entertainment facility for thrill-seekers… and insidious Masterminds. Its still-operating slot machines and chips were strewn across the floor tell the eerie tale of how hastily it was deserted during the collapse of Raccoon City.
The Abandoned Park – A horror-themed park located on the outskirts of Raccoon City. It too was left abandoned when zombies and bioweapons overran Raccoon City. Now, monsters both real and imagined now patiently await visitors.
In Resident Evil Resistance, one Mastermind plots a deadly course by wielding a strategic deck of cards to create dangerous obstacles to prevent a group of Survivors from escaping. In turn, Survivors must work together using their own special abilities and items they come across to thwart the Mastermind and escape the experiment before time runs out.
