New Products From QPAD

We recently got sent a lovely little care package from QPAD. This bundle featured one of their new keyboards, as well as a couple of mouse pads.

We are going to take a look at these products and hopefully, maybe, you might be interested in an update.

QPAD Delivers The Goods

Starting off this article we are going to take a look at the main part of the bundle. The Keyboard, being the QPAD Flux 65 Model 5. Let’s have a little look shall we?

QPAD Flux 65 Model 5

This keyboard in its TKL model was great. Featuring some awesome magnetic switches giving you precise measurement of activation. Using magnets, though, ensures that you have longer durability with a faster response. Meaning you get plenty of gameplay out of that keyboard, especially when it’s been built for its performance. Those keys also have adjustable activation, meaning you can use a shallow trigger for those fps games where you need that quick presses. You can even make it activate right at the bottom of its range, just to ensure those MMO grind sessions are successful.

lights, camera, action

The Flux 65 comes with an 8K Hz polling rate, meaning that it sends signals 8 times more frequently than a standard keyboard. This means that you have an incredible response time, which is more noticeable in fast-paced games. It gives you the edge over the competition.

Thankfully, even though you are going to be hitting those keys in rapid succession the Flux 65 has incredible sound dampening. Featuring a silicone and foam layer that reduce any resonance on those clicks. Giving you pure silence when playing and when you don’t want to disturb others.

The Flux 65 is a great little keyboard, and at only £119.99 it is a great upgrade if you are in the market.

QPAD Obsidian Glass Mousepad

Moving onto something that is both gloriously beautiful and cooling at the same time. The tempered glass surface gives you an ultra-smooth surface for consistent tracking as well as precision. With an anti-slip rubber base, this mousepad does not move a millimetre, even if you are being overly aggressive during a game. Featuring a multi-layered construction, giving strength and stability even at only 4mm of thickness.

beautiful contours

I absolutely love this mousepad and it’s even replaced my previous one. It also features a really cool contour design all the way along its 420 x 420mm size.

Finally we have another mousepad, but this one is a fabric one.

QPAD Edge Mousepad – XXL Wide

Unpacking this mousepad, you get a feel of the premium materials that are used here. With a smooth surface allowing for precise tracking, along with flat stitched edges, meaning that they won’t rub against your wrist. A nice soft surface allows both your mouse and hand to glide on the mousepad, allowing you to have long gameplay sessions without any fatigue.

Standing tall before being laid flat

There is an anti-slip base that helps to keep the mousepad in place, and coming in four different sizes, you can get the right mousepad for your setup.

M – 350 × 300 × 4 mm (197 g)

L – 450 × 400 × 4 mm (340 g)

XL – 500 × 450 × 4 mm (425 g)

XXL Wide – 900 × 400 × 4 mm (666 g)

Final Thoughts

These products were great to receive, and I can’t wait to keep using them in my setup going forward.

Massive thanks to QPAD for sending them through for us to try out.
