Having the chance to really dive into the world of this IP with the team from Gun and working with Sumo to bring this vision to life has been almost surreal. I can't wait for everyone to see more of what we're doing." The game is a third-person asymmetric multiplayer horror and will be available on P...

Battlefield 2042 Review

Well, it's finally here. The latest instalment of the Battlefield series has come to life with Battlefield 2042. Despite the new venue for vehicular and infantry combat, the Battlefield games are known for, it has been met with some harsh criticism from long-time fans of the series. Some feel that DICE has made poor development decisions with some of its changes to the game. Others believe that DICE took Battlefield 2042 out of the oven too soon due to deadlines set by publisher Electronic Arts. Regardless, Battlefield 2042 is currently available for purchase on PC via Steam, Origin, and Epic as well as Xbox Series X/S/One and PlayStation 5/4. Much like my bullets, Battlefield 2042 misses the mark I have been a fan of the Battlefield series since I built my first PC in college and picked...

Rover Mechanic Simulator Review

As a kid growing up I was always fascinated by space and the exploration of far off worlds. So with the release of Rover Mechanic Simulator on PS4 and having never tried a simulator before, it was time to channel my inner Mark Watney and take my first small step into the larger world of simulation games. Houston, we have a problem Rover Mechanic Simulator is the latest in a slew of SIM games from Polish developer Pyramid Games. It's a single-player title where you assume the role of an engineer on one of the first Mars colonies. Your main responsibility is the analysis, repair and maintenance of the real life NASA Mars rover vehicles - Curiosity, Opportunity, Sojourner, Spirit and Ingenuity. Published by Ultimate Games this PS4 release comes in at 2.22GB and works in backwards compatibil...

Alwa’s Legacy Review

Alwa's Legacy is Elden Pixel's 2020 follow-up to Alwa's Awakening. It's a modern retro adventure game, bringing elements of 16-bit era titles to a new generation of players. Now having made its way onto Playstation, I've been given the opportunity to check it out. Alwa's Legacy - A Hefty Hit of Nostalgia Vibes I feel like this game has made me realise how spoiled we are in the modern generation of games in terms of instructions and tutorials. Do you prefer a game to drop you in and let you figure things out for yourself? Or do you like to have a bit of guidance? I'm probably most happy with a middle ground approach where there's some direction, but not a map full of icons and objectives. Let me know what you think in the comments. Gameplay The game opens with a short interactiv...

Rune Factory 4 Special Review

Developed by Marvelous Inc and published by Marvelous Inc and XSEED Games. Rune Factory 4 Special is a slightly updated version of Rune Factory 4 that was released on the Nintendo 3DS in July 2012. Rune Factory 4 Special was released on the 7th of December 2021. It was released on the Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox One Series S/X, and PC. Rune Factory 4 Special - The Old One's Are The Best When I saw that this absolutely brilliant JRPG was getting a console release and it was adding some new content. I just had to have it. There are many games that have fallen under the same category. Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, and Stardew Valley just to name a few but I always had a fondness for the Rune Factory series. So if you enjoy this review then why not check out my prev...
