Great news, readers. Glitchpunk early access is now available on Steam! The GTA-2 inspired game from Daedalic Entertainment (Deponia, Cryofall, Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun) is available for you all to play and take in the gorgeous environments whilst causing carnage. I have a review of this game in the works and I must say, what I have played, is great fun! Glitchpunk is a top-down action game where you play as a glitching android going against its own programming. Challenge the megacorps and tyrannical governments of a dystopian near-future. Drive, brawl, steal, shoot and sneak yourself through a world full of gangs, cults, and a ton of neon lights. At first, the only playable city will be New Baltia. In three to four weeks after the game's launch, Outpost Texas will be pla...

There has been a range of skills revealed via the trailer, including parry bashes, dodge rolls, ruthless ranged attacks as well as very graphic executions. Space Invaders Invincible Collection Releasing Digitally August 17th

Yes, that's right. There is a "new" Space Invaders game releasing in 2021. Well, I say new, it's actually a new collection of Space Invaders games. The Space Invaders Invincible Collection is coming real soon to Nintendo Switch. The collection will launch digitally on August 17th for the aforementioned Nintendo hybrid handheld. Taito and ININ Games are pleased to announce this, and I can understand why. Space Invaders is genuinely a game that holds a special place in a lot of peoples hearts, especially in the hearts of the retro fans among us. The thing about Space Invaders is not the fact it's such a classic franchise. It's the fact that over the years it has made such a name for itself that everyone has heard of it. Gamers or not. Gotta love pop culture. Space Invaders Invincible C...

Hokko Life Early Access Review

Hokko Life is the debut game of Swedish based indie developer Wonderscope in partnership with publisher Team17. It is a community sim game very much in the vein of the Animal Crossing series and Stardew Valley. I don't recommend falling asleep on public transport but in this case, it led to ending up in the small but welcoming town. Over time the town has dwindled but perhaps helping the community means turning this around. Being quickly welcomed by the anthropomorphic animal residents, repaying the hospitality leads to it feeling like home. The plot feels similar to Stardew Valley with the emphasis on change from urban life. And the gameplay & design very much feels like Animal Crossing: New Horizons (AC: NH). If you enjoyed those, especially the latter, then you won't be disappoin...

Stride Review

Stride, developed and published by Joy Way, is a single-player VR parkour game that features a combat element to it.  Out now on Oculus Quest 2, PCVR and Vive with PSVR coming at a later date, it is touted as a "high-octane parkour adventure in virtual reality" Stride, One hell of a way to keep fit! I'm not the best at motion games however on the Oculus Quest 2, Stride is listed as "Comfortable".  Let's take this for a test!  If you are playing this version or any of the early access versions, let us know what you think of it in the comments below! Gameplay When I think of parkour games, Mirror's Edge immediately comes to mind.  Running, jumping, sliding, grappling and firing a gun nicely sums up Stride however there are a few more mechanics at work thanks to the wonderful Oculus Q...
