URG Review – Utopos Rocketship Game

URG (formerly known as Gun Tech) is the latest title to come out of closed beta and hit the Steam store by Jani Penttinen. Penttinen is known for a release very similar to URG many moons ago. That game is Utopos and was released for the Atari ST in 1993. On researching more into Penttinen and Utopos Publishing, it also looks like there is a re-make of Utopos in the works. This is currently in closed beta, so we don't have much to go from. However, it looks very similar to URG. Following on from the release on PS4 last year of Tennis World Tour 2 by Big Ant Studios, there is now an enhanced next-gen version available. I have taken a look at it on the PS5 to see if I could spot the differences between the two. If you have ever wondered what an egg & spoon race with cars would be like then Eggcelerate! is the game for you. A light-hearted racing game where the goal is crossing the finish line with your egg intact. It may sound simple but this indie game will keep you on your toes. Think Trials Fusion but in a car and the added challenge of an egg in an open-top container.
