Launched onto Early Access on the 14th of December 2017, Fade To Silence is a survival title with the aim being to -understandably- survive against the elements, but also against dark Eldritch monsters that haunt the lands. In developer, Black Forest Games' Fade To Silence, players take control of Ash, a leader who is hunting down resources to build a shelter essentially. Along the way, Ash will encounter other people to join his growing group of followers, which in turn gives the group access to higher tiers of resources or gear making crafting an easier feat, or more demanding. Developer, Mad About Panda's colourful media, are launching their first foray into a series of narrative driven mystery titles in 2018 under the Hitchhiker name, and there's a trailer! Hitchhiker is planned to be a narrative-driven mystery series, with different drivers as each title comes out. The first title is of course linked to the trailer below and called, "Hitchhiker - First Ride". The story finds you, in a first person perspective, within the car that you've hitchhikied. You have no memory of who you are and as the road trip continues clues make themselves known, through conversational choices, and props with worrying notes on them. Insurgency: Sandstorm Shows off Reloading Mechanics in Latest Gameplay Video

New World Interactive, developers behind Insurgency, and Day of Infamy, have shared a new video which shows their upcoming, Insurgency: Sandstorm's reloading system in action. Insurgency was once an impressive Half Life 2 modification which later launched as a dedicated title back in 2014, with over forty weapons to play around with in sixteen maps as two teams take to the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia to win matches. Next year is due to gain the next instalment into the Insurgency series with New World Interactive's upcoming, Insurgency: Sandstorm. Grand Theft Auto 5 Online gained a fairly big, and free update titled, The Doomsday Heist and brought with it jetpacks, fancy high tech vehicles, and three new heists that are centred around saving the world. However there's also a mysterious "hunt" that players can take part in. As officially confirmed by Rockstar Games, there is indeed a special treasure tucked away within the games world. Players will need to keep eyes out for an in-game email which will reveal the first clue to them. This clue will lead them onto a trail which will eventually unlock the Double-Action Revolver weapon to use in GTA Online. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is - without question - the biggest game in the world right now, so Microsoft's current console exclusivity for the title is obviously a big deal. Equally without question is that the PC game is notorious for its work-in-progress visuals and wobbly performance. With that in mind, some might say that it's somewhat miraculous that any playable version of PUBG is possible on a console right now. From another perspective though, what's clear is that the current build of the game is a long way short of the standards expected from a polished console release. HITMAN Gets Free Holiday Pack This Month, Includes Paris Location & Santa Suit

IO Interative's title, HITMAN is getting a free holiday pack this month and will allow players to get the Paris location and missions, and even a Santa suit! Last year, IO Interactive launched a, 'Holiday Hoarders' mission that was set in Paris. It saw two thieves stealing Christmas presents from around the building the Paris missions are set, and there was even a teleporting Santa Claus that you could steal the clothes from if you caught him. Nintendo Switch PAYDAY 2 Release Dates Revealed

Starbreeze Studios have announced the official release dates for PAYDAY 2 arriving on the Nintendo Switch in early 2018. PAYDAY 2, the title that launched back in 2013 is the sequel to the original, PAYDAY: The Heist. It puts four players together in a first person shooter, cooperative heist in which the goal is usually to bag as much jewellery or cash as they can, then get out. The title has been hugely popular on PC, and made its way onto the PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PS4. Next February will see the game arrive onto the Nintendo Switch console in both digital and physical formats thanks to 505 Games.
