Remothered: Tormented Fathers Coming Soon

This is the first chapter in the highly anticipated survival-horror saga “Remothered” and it will be scaring us all in 2017.

Darril Arts and Stormind Games are tasked with finishing the game’s development and releasing it on both the PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam.

The game see’s you control Rosemary Reed in an interactive psychological horror with strong inspiration from cinematic moments and extreme gameplay. Rosemary is a 35-year-old woman who heads to the house of a retired notary who is also affected by a mysterious disease. Once Rosemary reveals her true reason for arriving at the home of Dr. Felton the horror begins.

Her investigations through the house will bring her to believe that the disappearance of Dr. Felton and his wife’s daughter was part of a horrible massacre and with Felton and his wife, Arianna could well be the only ones that know the truth of what happened.

The story has its plot-twists as well as being emotionally touching. The psychology part will play a huge role as you progress through the game with the line between good and evil being blurry at times. Using a style akin to film narration, the development of the game purposefully makes you identify with the character and along with the soundtrack composed by Nobuko Toda (Final Fantasy, Halo, Metal Gear Solid), this adds to the atmosphere of the game.

The plot of the game is structured and conceived according to the narrative flow of a film, taking in the await, the climax, along with the dramatic event and the epilogue. The real features of the characters, thanks to the motion capture technology, has resulted in realised and peculiar movements.

As well as the storyline through the game you will recognise some movie quotes that have been added to the game, which aim to enrich the plot and the gameplay.

Will you be taking on the challenge to discover the secrets of Dr. Felton’s house? Check out the trailer below.

Been playing games since I can remember, from spectrum all the to current consoles. Always been interested in video game news and recently got the opportunity to head up a great team of eager people. I’m generally a man of many words but I try and be succinct and to the point in everything I write.
